We sat down next to ZK, who was surrounded by his bodyguards.
"How nice to see you again." The Zombie King told us, brusque.
No response. Jax smirked at us, amused.
We were staring at his hoodie, hung low over his face and covering his face. It ended at his chin.
But that voice.
It sounded so familiar.
The ZK reached for his hoodie, pulling it off his head.
There was a collective gasp.
James smirked at us. "Oh, what's wrong? Did you not miss me?"
He mock-pouts.
My ears turned red with anger.
"James, why?"
Abigail starts to sob. "First Jax, now you. Why can't I have any decent brothers? Why?"
"You should just join us, sis. It's much happier that way." James proclaimed, ignoring everyone else except Abigail.
"Shut up, James, I would never join you."
The ZK narrows his eyes. "You sure?"
"Positive!"
James looked at Jax, shrugging. "Do you wanna persuade her? Or should we just, I don't know, kill her?"
"JAMES!" Jax screeched.
Abigail's eyes were as round as saucers. "Really?" she croaked. "Oh, James. You wouldn't."
"I would," James reassured her.
Jax gave him a warning look.
"Um." I cleared my throat. "I hate to be interrupting this sibling drama, but, uh, we're here, too. What about our death threats?"
"Coming up soon," The ZK promised. "But let us first decide what to do with Abigail. The annoying sister."
