What happened next was... alarming.
Before any of us could fire again, the zombies stumbled in view, spreading around wielding weapons.
It seemed like they didn't seem to care who they shot, because they turned around, sending bullets everywhere.
It was thunderous.
Guards fell, along with other zombies.
I ducked behind my corner, barely missing a bullet. My ears ringed from the guns, hurting more and more as it went on.
I took a deep breath, and looked around the corner.
More zombies were falling, and before I could retreat, a bullet impacted itself into my leg.
I hid once again, trying to calm down the blazing pain.
I poked the shotgun next to me, and pulled the trigger.
A sound of a click happened, so I pulled it back, but not in time. A returning shot hit it, sending the top half flying out of my grip.
Lucky shot.
Eventually only one enemy was left, and I threw the knife at him. Direct hit.
We quickly left the area, knowing more would come.
"Sooooo, now let's attack the king?" Mason asked.
Abigail turned to us. "Right. Let's go."
