Sam and I were driving back to his house from the nice restaurant.

"Thanks for breakfast Sam, it means alot to me." I said.

"You're welcome. And you don't have to starve because of your dumb dad. Just call me and I'll bring you some food or take you out to eat. Whatever you want."

We reached Sams house and before I could open the car door, Sam was there. He opened my door for me and held out his hand to help me out of the car.

I smiled at his cute gesture. When we walked into the house, I got a little cold. I'm not used to air conditioning. My father would never pay for that. He can't even pay for food to feed me.

I sat on the couch next to Sam. "Hey, are you cold? Do you want a sweater?" he said. I nodded in agreement.

Sam began to take off the hoodie he was wearing. "Oh no, Sam, don't worry about it. I'll be fine!" I said.

"No, its okay. I want you to keep it. It'll look better on you anyways!" Sam said as he placed his hoodie on me.

I smiled. "Are you still cold?" Sam said. "Just a little, but I'm okay." I said.

Sam laid down next to me and started cuddling with me. "Now are you cold?" he said. "Not anymore." I smiled. I put my head into the crook of his neck as he held me close.

I loved this feeling. I felt like I mattered. Like someone cared about me. Like someone loved me.
