Lilli awoke In her normal painful state. Her dream hadn't been to eventful, just black with flashes of brown and red light as if it were an eye drifting in and out of consciousness. Something was still nagging at her thoughts. She pulled on the same pair of shorts she had previously been wearing and a red t-shirt, form-fitting t-shirt with two white buttons at the top. She pulled on her sweatshirt and left the quaint closet of a room.

At breakfast which was just some odd pieces of toast and pieces of fruit served in a dingey, poorly lit room with some tables was lonely. Until Liam came in. Lilly immediately  brightened. She hadn't realized how early she had gotten up, but as the room filled with people she wasn't so lonely. The bustling voices and giggling of children made her feel happy. Liam grabbed an apple and sat down at a table for 4 with Lilli. Small talk was made. They were both in the middle of laughing when a bright cheery voice interrupted.

"Hey! Anybody sitting here?" The phrase was said by the girl with the purple hair.

"No, it's just us, sit down if you'd like" Lilli stuttered out.

"Thank you, hope I'm not interrupting anything, you two are such a cute couple, it's just that all the other tables are taken." The girl sat down.

"Oh we aren't a couple" said Liam very quickly. Her grabbed my wrist and showed her his "see?"

Lillie symbol was still irritated from the nightmares, but imprinted on Liam's was a half a crescent moon, smooth and black against his skin.

"Oh I'm sorry, I'm Bri by the way. I've been doing charity work over in the US for a few months now. I finally get to go back and see my girlfriend, I've missed her loads. Her names Giana. I just assumed that since you two were like together in the boat you were like, together together. Sorry"  Bri was extremely confident in what she said. She spoke a lot, so much that Lilli tried to not let bother her. Lilli talked so little she wasn't used to this.

"Oh your girlfriend, when did you meet her?" Liam questioned

"About a year ago, took very little searching, lived in the same neighborhood. We each had a half of a palm tree on our wrists which is a petty rare sign so we knew it was destiny."

"She seems lovely" Lilli added. The three finished there meal and walked up to deck. They talked for hours and hours, about there family's, to hobbies, to everything in between. Lilli finally had friends.
