Lilli took a deep breath, and sat forward, shoulders hunched on the couch, and began to explain her doctors visit, her journey after leaving her house, the boat ride, and everything she knew about her soulmate. Giana sat there her chin resting upon her fists. She listened to every word that came out of Lilli's mouth without moving an inch. Liam sat and listened the same snacking on whatever fancy finger sandwiches Bri had brought to the living room earlier.
"And that's what's brought me here. I need to find him, I can't let it be to late" Lilli finished, lifting her head to meet the deep, caring eyes of Giana.
"Sweet heart don't you worry about anything!"Giana walked over and plopped down next to a sad Lilli and placed her hand on hers. " You can rest here tonight and clean up after your long journey and we'll talk more over dinner" she patted Lillis back and helped her up.
"Bri darling, will show these two to there room, I have a video meeting in 20 minutes"
"Of course, right this way guys" Bri swung her hand towards the staircase
Liam and Lilli picked up what little baggage they had and began to climb the stairs, Bri following quickly.
"That's our room, the bathroom, and our home office" Bri walked down the hallway finally stopping at the last door at the end of the hallway. "And here is your room"
"Wait a second, our room?" Liam piped up and eyebrow raised at Bri.
"We only have one guest room, sorry." She said "probably should have mentioned you would have to share"she ran her fingers through her hair nervously, eyes focused down at the hardwood floor.
"That's fine Bri, we appreciate everything you've done for us" Lilli interjected when Liam stood, staring at the door quizzically "we'll be just fine"
Bri turned and walked back down the hallway. Lilli pushed open the door and threw her bag in. Liam stood frozen, gears shifting in his head, his face reading an unidentifiable emotion. Lilli shook her head, rolling her eyes, and pulled him into the room by his hand.
"What is up with you lately, you're so jumpy and awkward?" Lilli asked with more annoyance in her time than intended.
Liam's face changed and met eyes with Lilli for half a second before averting his gaze to the floor of the light gray walled bedroom.
"Nothing, I'm gonna go take a shower" Liam said sadly as he turned through the door he just got pulled through and walked quickly into the bathroom.
