The Sun and the Moon chapter 13

Lilli knew something was wrong with her new friend. She flipped back onto the gigantic fluffy bed covered in gray sheets that matched the wall. Why was he acting so weird? He's fine one minute but then he gets all moody. She doesn't understand. He started acting weird when they were down in the living room talking about her soulmate. He didn't say a word until Bri showed him the room. Lilly searched her brain for something she said or did wrong. Maybe it was from the car that morning? Had she upset him by moving away?  She rolled over on the massive bed, 'wow this bed could fit four of me' she thought to herself just before she heard footsteps coming back down the hallway. She looked towards the door and saw Liam's sad face coming in. He sat down on the bed next to her still avoiding eye contact. 

"Liam how long til dinner?" And as if on cue she heard Bri's loud, happy voice screeching 'dinner in 10' from the bottom of the stairs. She was starving, having not eaten properly through her entire trip.  She didn't wait for Liam bridge she raced down the stairs. Almost bouncing off the wall. Her nose was hit with a delicious smell onlywhich could only be one thing, her favorite thing, Chinese stir fry. Her mouth watered as she pulled out her chair at the dining table. 

"Wow someone's excited" Giana's voice sang from behind her accompanied by a small laugh.

"I am, this smells amazing." 

"Well go ahead and help yourself to everything, eat as much as you'd like" and boy, Lilli sure did, taking a heaping portion from the pot and digging in, not even noticing Liam sitting down and doing the same.

There was still something off about Liam, he moved the delicious meal around his bowl with his chopsticks occasionally putting a small piece in his mouth before saying he was full and excusing himself to the bedroom. Having not really eaten for days it was transparently clear there was something wrong. 

After Lilli finished her third helping the three remaining girls talked about a plan. Lilli had he name of the hospital but not the name of her soulmate. In the morning they planned on making a visit to the hospital and finally meeting him seeing if he truly was her soulmate. 

Lilli was satisfied with the plan and her meal and wandered upstairs and into the shower. she was barely awake when she changed into her pajamas, eyes droopy with mind and judgement clouded. She stumbled into the bedroom with the lights already off and crawled under the covers of the very warm and welcoming bed. Before her head even hit the pillow she was out cold.
