I scuttled around the airport hunting for a way to contact Symphora or my parents. But I, finding no viable way out I asked few people to lend me their phone for a call. But they glared at me like I was a imbecile being and scurried away. Losing hope I collapsed on a chair nearby. Between my tears I saw the man who sat next to me in the airplane.
"sir, sir"I called him...
He turned around startled.
"Can you please lend me your phone? My phone is totally drained off the charge. I don't know my way . I need to call my parents "
He looked at me surprised, a stroke of recognition arched across his face. He gave me his phone. I didn't know symphora's number but I tried calling my parents.
It was not reachable .
I cursed under my breath, I tried again, sporting him an anxiety filled smile, failing several attempts I resorted in returning him the phone as tears ceaselessly flowed down my cheeks inspite of my vulnerable effort to hinder them. He for the first time asked"Are you lost? "
I nodded. I know I must not trust a stranger as if I have a set of other options pilled up before me. I explained my dire situation to him.
"so you are here on the scholarship from Hawthorne group "he asked thinking hard.
"first, relax don't panic "he said handing me a bottle of water which I gulped down. Crying indeed made me thirsty.
"I think you must go to their office  someone there must be able to help you. "he said.
I nodded.
He left me in a cab to Hawthorne group, I was too absurd, my weird brain goes to a totally locked up mode in the time of need. How convenient... I cursed.
I thanked him heartily as the cab moved.

It's been half a day I was sitting in front of the city headquarters of Hawthorne group. Nobody seemed to notice my presence. I asked the receptionist for almost about twenty times all she did give me was a stern reply to wait.

I waited as my eyes analysed the building for a hundredth time in a row. My legs stiffened, I slowly shifted them changing positions, gathering my weight in one arse and stretching my legs slowly. The frailest tinge of leftover patience  evaporated as clock struck six. People were leaving, it's been a whole day I have been waiting here. Lack of food exhausted me. I am not sure where to go, I am stranded. I must go to some hotel for the night and maybe call my parents and return home. I don't want to stay in this hell hole for an other second. But I am not sure if there is any good hotel nearby, with completely charged drained phone I am out of options ....
I seriously doubt my possiblities out there. Let me see if this lady can speak?
Anyway I don't want this damn scholarship any more. Let me show this lady a piece of my mind.

I walked up to the receptionist, "Can I speak to Symphora? "I asked.
"later,"she said.
"looks like you are leaving "I asked.
"Do you mind? "she asked.
"yes I do"I said.
She looked at me half offended half surprised for she might not have expected it from the murk girl who was waiting in the couch for about eight hours.
"Off my way"she said"before I call the guards"
I blocked her." I must know why in the world is Allan is employing a useless scum like you, call them as you please anyway I don't desire to spend my night here "
Down came Allan's secretary.
"you reached? "she said astonished.
"is Allan here? "I asked.
"no"she said looking away at the chaos.
"please do tell them, I am here on the scholarship, they are not believing the scholarship letter is genuine either".i said.

"who are you? "she asked.
"but you seemed to recognise me"I retorted.
"oh my head, too much of work "she said scampering towards the exit clearly avoiding me.
I ran behind her but she rushed to her car and took off.
I don't have any idea what I have put myself into. I slowly walked back into the half deserted office. It was nearly nine at night.
"I am afraid you must leave miss"security said, he really did look sorry.
I was slouching forward on the couch as my head rested on my palms. "
I gave him a faint smile, gathering my luggage. The sky has turned pitch black but the city sparkled like glittering diamonds providing an ambience of day. As I gathered my belongings slowly, undecided I clutch my bag tight. I think I must ask the security for his phone.
But suddenly I heard footsteps behind me. Beside me stood an young man in well tailored suit.
"Allan"I gasped
