my heart ripped apart

The million thoughts raced through my head deluding the world around me. I remain confined in the nut shell of my brain.
A sudden bang in the front of the restaurant startled us. Mike rushed out, so did I.
There in front of us lay Christian with a bullet shot on him.The blood oozed around the bullet incision. Mike rushed to Christian to find him severely injured, panic struck I stood.
My world came tumbling down when a bullet from somewhere raced onto Mike's heart.
People has gathered around us. Tears welled up my eyes as my heart ripped apart ."Let it not be true, let it not be true" I silently prayed under my breath as my lips trembled in fear. Slowly I moved towards Mike who was already unconscious. "Mike, don't be dead" I whimpered. "Mike, Mike, Mike please"I shrieked cupping his face. His face remained tranquil and pale, my clothes soaked in his blood.

"My Mike, mike..... Somebody help"i cried.
"please don't go away"i mumbled.

"this can't be true,no this can't be"i assured myself as tears jerked violently like a turbulence of waterfall.
"Mikey, tell me you are ok" I wailed shouting at the top of my voice.
Weeping and trying to call him back to life as he lay lifeless.
His handsome face expressionless glistened by the moonlight. My throat thwarted with dryness. My eyes swollen and the absolute pain in my heart.
I sat on the pavement in front of the restaurant with Mike's head on my lap. A dying Mike. My world remained stand still as my best friend die on my arms.
