Cure for Curses

"Please may the pigeon come soon!" Aria prayed "Please! Please! Please!"

"It might come tomorrow!" said Yume

"Or the day after," said Subaru

"But that's only one more day then -" said Nozomu

"Or the day after that," said Subaru

"Ugh! You're not helping," said Yume

"Of course I am! You wouldn't know whens when if I wasn't here, Tomato,"

"That's not my - UGH!"

"That's for helping guys," said Aria "But really, you don't need to stay. Yume, I know how much you wanted to go home and -"

"I'll only leave if you want me to," said Yume "Aria, when a friend is in need I'm there for them! Unless leaving will help you in some way,"

Aria smiled then hugged Yume. "You're the greatest!"

Aria was sitting at the edge of the royal outdoor pool. She looked at her reflection, she hated it. No matter how much it still looked like her she hated looking at it.

She kicked the water then slashed it with her hand. Then she started to fall in, still not use to her extra height and weight just yet.

"Whoa!" cried Nozomu as he grabbed her arm. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," said Aria as her heart started to slow down. "Oh I hate being human! How can you live like this everyday?"

"We just do," he replied with a shrug "Mind if I sit with you?"

"Go on ahead," she said

He sat down cross-legged. "I know it must be hard trying to get used to something you don't enjoy," said Nozomu "It was hard for me when I became prince. New home, new rules, everything changed and it was like having a weight put on me,"

"New home? I don't understand," said Aria

"Oh, you see, my uncle was the king until he died, so now I'm second in line for the throne. Yay,"

"Oh. I'm sorry about your uncle,"

Nozomu shrugged. "You get over it," Then he looked up and gasped "It's the pigeon!"

"It is!?!" Aria looked up and gasped too "It is! It is! Come on! Let's go!"

Nozomu, Aria, Yume, and Subaru gathered in the nurse's office where she received her mail.

"Let's see, bills, bills, bills, magazine, coupon ... I'm sorry Aria, it's not here," said the nurse

Aria's smile turned into a frown, her heart sank, tears filled her eyes. "I'm sorry," said Yume

"Yeah, really sorry," said the hatter as he took off his top hat "I have some fake wings in here if you ever want to put those on,"

"No thank you," Aria so politly

Nozomu put and arm around Aria. "We'll get the answers soon, I'm sure,"

"I know, but ... but ... I hate being human," Tear spilled from Aria's eyes. Nozomu huggeg her then kissed her cheek.

Suddenly, Aria began to glow and shift and shrink. When all the light had gone away Aria let out a happy cry which sounded like bells.

"I'm a fairy again!" she cried

"The kiss of royalty turned her back!" said Subaru "Awesome!"

"Oh wow, oh wow!" Aria gasped, buzzing around all of them.

"Aria you look ... amazing," said Nozomu

"Yeah! You really do!" said Yume

"Thanks," said Aria "OH! I better go tell everyone back at Neverland what the hold up is!" With that, Aria flew out the window and back home.

"She didn't even say goodbye," said the nurse "How rude,"

"Well! At least now we can get on with the show!" said Subaru without a care about the event at all in his tone. "Come on, Tomato!"

Yume didn't listen, she turned to Nozomu. "Nozomu, are you ... okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," he said "You learn to get over these things,"

"Uh, Tomato," said Subaru "I still believe there is an allbay in the ellway!"

"OH! Right!" Yume patted Nozomu's back "Have a good time getting over this! Goodbye!"

"How will we get the ball if it's down there?" Yume wondered as she and Subaru starred into the dark waters.

"Here," said Subaru as he handed Yume a rope. "You hold on to this while I go down and get the ball, okay?"

"Uh, okay," said Yume as Subaru tied one end of the rope around his stomach.

"But whatever you do, do not let go!" he said "I don't want to turn into a human, like Aria,"

"But you are human!"

"Try telling that to everyone else I know," Once Subaru had firm knot on, and Yume had a firm grip, he began to descend down the well. "It's really wet and gross down here," he said

"Yeah, um, there is white stuff on your rope here," said Yume "Is it paint or something cause it feels really gross,"

"Oh that? Yeah that's bird poop,"

"OH YUCK!!"

"Don't let -"

But too late, Yume let go and Subaru hit the bottom of the well. "I got the ball," he said weakly

"I am so sorry!" Yume called as she started to pull him back up. He felt heavier. "But that is just so - OH MY GOODNESS!"

"Did this well get smaller to you?" Subaru asked

"Uh ... you got bigger!" said Yume "You're ... a beast!"
