Of all the times for Rain't brother to show up.

"James," Rain says. She sounds like she's out of it. Like she's already been defeated.

"I can't let you pass," James states. He slowly brings his hand up so that the end of a gun is pointing at Rain's face. As soon as he pulls the trigger she's dead. However, she doesn't even flinch. She just stands there staring at her long lost brother.

"James, please, let us pass," she says. I see a single tear run down her face.

I can feel the tension rising as we all stand there waiting for something to happen.

"Mac. Jack. I want you to keep going. I'll meet you outside."

Jack and I slowly start to walk around the Winter Soldier but he quickly turns and points the gun at us. "No one may pass," he states. As if he was not acting of his own accord but following orders.

Rain holds out her hand and says, "Keep going. I've made it so he can't pull the trigger. It's frozen."

Jack nods and I follow him around the man with the gun and down the hallway. When we can't see them anymore, we start to run.

"We shouldn't have left her," I say, saddened by the fact that she had asked us to leave. Almost as if she thought we couldn't help her without getting hurt.

"Dude, she told us to leave! You know she wouldn't have let us stay. She would have kicked our butts so hard that we would have flown through the roof and outside! I think I would rather run out than be kicked out."

"Fine."

A few minutes later, we see daylight again as we make our way out of the tunnel.

Noises that a plane makes are coming from the North.

Jack and I dive behind yet another bush and look up.

A few seconds later, the plane appears and at first I think it's a plane that belongs to Hydra. Then I see the insignia on the side.

It's a bird with wings outstretched and a long tail. A phoenix.

"It's the Phoenix Foundation!" I exclaim, the happiness evident on my face.

I come out from behind the bush and start to wave my arms frantically.

The plane lands and the side door swings open to reveal a certain brunette hacker we know.

"Riley!" Jack exclaims, his smile brightening up his face.

"Hey!" Riley states with a carefree attitude, "sorry it took so long to find you. Your GPS signals went out for a while but I finally got them back online a few hours ago."

"That's my girl!" Jack says, embracing her.

Bozer then jumps out of the plane but stumbles a bit when he hits the ground.

"Hey Mac!" he says while patting me on the back.

"Hey!" I say.

"He insisted on coming," Riley states shooting Bozer a teasing smile.

"Well I wasn't going to miss out on going into the field."

That's when Bozer turns on his angry girlfriend mode.

"I thought you were dead! Where have you been all this time?"

"Well, uh, I met this girl. . ."

Just like that, angry girlfriend mode switches to best friend mode. "Oooh, a girl. Tell me more. . ." he  says raising his eyebrows up and down and elbowing me gently in the side.

"It's not like that," I state giving him a defensive look.

"Mm hmm."

"Speaking of her, she's still inside!"

Riley steps forward and states as if it's the most obvious thing in the world, "Then let's go get her."
