13. Green

I sat in the back of the Impala, alone. Jack was next to Kaia, Dean and Dam across from them. I could hear them talking, as they were just outside the car.

I hated her. The way the angels took her to get to Jack. The way he rescued her. The way she possessed powers, fighting against her own self. The way Jack looked at her...

After a few moments, the boys and Kaia entered the car. Jack sat next to me, in the middle, with Kaia next to him.

"Let me show what Derrick showed me. Let me show you the good." Jack whispered to her. His dingers came to her temple, his eyes that golden hue that made my heart flutter. Her eyes began to glow gold, too, and a gasp escaped her lips. She smiled.

"Stop the car." I grumbled.

"What?" Sam asked, whipping around from the front. He looked at me with confusion and concern.

"I said stop the damn car!" I yelled. Dean slammed on the breaks, causing all of us to jolt.

"Lapis?" Sam asked.

I opened the car door and stepped out. I slammed it shut and winced at the sound.

"What are you doing?! Get back in the car!" Dean yelled.

I began walking away, slowly. I hope Jack would come after me.

I saw headlights in the distance, a car zooming at us. I quickly jumped back in the car, eyes wide with fear. In moments, the car rammed into ours.

"We need to get out!" Kaia screamed, looking frightened. Jack's arm came around her as he pushed open her door, the two tumbling out.

I wanted to die in this car. I wanted the impact of the crash to destroy ever fiber of my being. But Chuck forbid I could get that.

"Come on!" Sam yelled. Dean and I exited the car, quickly grabbing some supplies from the trunk and following the other three. A ship yard came into view, abandoned and looking like what The Queen Mary would look like in a horror movie.

Jack, Kaia, and I stood in the top room of the ship. Sam drew warding sigils on the walls in red spray paint. Dean stayed behind.

"We'll be fine." Jack calmly assured the dream-walker. He looked only at her, which made my blood boil. He hadn't said anything to me since we found him. He didn't care for me like I thought he did..

Dean rushed up the stairs, face grim. "We're screwed!"

"What's going on?" Sam asked.

Suddenly, the entire foundation shook. I tumbled, meeting the cold ground. I didn't dare to see where Kaia was.

"They're burning off the warding! We have to get out now!" Dean exclaimed over the roar of the crumbling ship.

"Wait! I can get us into the world Mary is in!" Jack stated, looking at Kaia.

"How?" I snarled.

"Me." Kaia replied sharply, looking at me. Jack pulled a chair out for her, helping her sit.

I clenched my jaw. "I thought you could only go to one place."

"The Bad Place, yeah. But if Jack is confident he can help, then I'm in." She looked up at him, soft smiles on both of their faces.

"Hurry!" Dean yelled as he stumbled against the wall. The angels were almost here.

The golden hue of both of the younger group members' eyes seared into my brain. Kaia's screams filled my ears, drowning out everything else. With a flash bang of energy, we were no longer in the shipyard.

"It's good to see you... Princess." I looked up, seeing someone I didn't think I'd ever see again.

"Daddy?"

Where do you think Lapis is? I want to hear your thoughts. Feedback is greatly appreciated.

I don't know what will happen with the story for now. Jack is in the place with Mary as of the most recent episode. I'm sure Lapis will be with the boys before that point, but I don't know where I want to go from here just yet. I want to see where the season takes Jack. I will have something up for you guys in place of this story to tide you over though.

Also, who do you see playing Lapis? I'm genuinely curious. My original thought was Lili Reinhart but I'm open to suggestions.
