"Your soul sings to mine. My soul is yours and it always will be, in any world." -Laini Taylor, Daughter of Smoke and Bone
Sam and Dean had mentioned to me once or twice about how they ended up in a parallel universe where they were actors and their lives were fantasy; a scifi tv show. I knew there were more realities besides the one I lived. I had been to the apocalypse world. Kaia had mentioned the Bad Place. I assumed there were thousands more worlds out there.
I never assumed that we would find ourselves in the same parallel world where Sam and Dean were actors again. My life sucked; who would want this as entertainment?
I turned to Jack and Hope, who were about as clueless as I was. Howe had ended up here was beyond me. We were all just in the bunker, fresh from hunting a witch putting hexes on people. It's possible she cursed us, but this kind of magic had to be powerful stuff.
"Hey babe!" A tall, chiseled jawed man came up to Hope. He slung his arm around her and held her close.
"Don't touch me!" She snarled, shooting her hand up to make him fly back. He didn't, of course, which bothered Hope greatly.
"What did I do wrong?" The man frowned, looking really apologetic.
"Just go along with it." I whispered to both her and Jack.
"Nothing. Sorry... Work has been.. rough." Hope lied, glancing back at me.
"You know me, always causing trouble." I grinned like it was the easiest thing to me.
The man laughed and shook his head. "Very cute, Lili. Cole is waiting for you."
"Who?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
The man raised an eyebrow. "Your boyfriend."
"Right! Right. Where is he?"
"Outside your trailer. Come on Cami, let's go." The man threw his arm back around Hope and walked away with her.
"Boyfriend? I'm your boyfriend!" Jack said in a defensive tone.
"Shh. Keep your voice down."
"Babe!" A cute tan skinned beauty ran up and latched onto Jack. My jaw clenched, but I tried to remember that in this world, Jack was not my boyfriend.
"Uh... Hi?" Jack asked, confused. I couldn't help but giggle at how cute he was.
The girl turned to me, looking me up and down with disgust. "You've filmed your scenes with Alex ready. Get out of here."
I raised my eyebrow. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me."
"You did not just tell me to-"
"Lili!" I turned, watching the King of the Underworld walk towards me.
"Oh no." I gasped, taking a step back. Was this his doing? It had to be.
"I've been waiting in your trailer for a half hour. What have you been doing?" He asked, walking towards me.
"She was being a cunt, Cole." The other woman snarled.
"Shut your mouth, bitch." Cole snapped at her. I guess they didn't get along, and neither did she and I. Was Cole the name of the King of the Underworld, or was this the name of the actor portraying him?
"Hey! Let's just go, okay?" I asked, moving past them both. I didn't want to be alone with this Cole person, and I hated the thought of leaving Jack alone with some skank, but I needed answers.
Cole wrapped his arm around me and kissed the top of my head. "I hate them both so much."
"Why?"
