Seokjin grabbed your hand and looked into your eyes with a widen gazed,
"Run."
Your heart began beating rapidly as the three of you set off in a rush away from the hoard following you. It didn't take long until you once more felt completely lost to as where you had been going. Seokjin was fast, and you thanked yourself for having trained, or else you would've been dead already. Nam-joon ran first, leading you smoothly through the alleys, as if he had done it plenty of times before. You looked behind you, still hearing the screaming. Eventually you realised their names were being screamed by the hoard. The three of you were just about to run out through an alley and into a larger street when paparazzi blocked the road, forcing you to take a harsh left turn out on a side street. Stopping, the two boys looked around desperately for an escape. You pointed at the entrance to a mall. They nodded and began running with you once more, this time into the mall. The hoard had begun catching up, and you felt how a pair of hands belonging to one especially fast girl who was ahead of the crowd grabbed your backpack and tugged at it, trying to get you to stop. The seams of the item ripped, having the backpack fly off and the girl fall with it. You were just about to turn to get it back when Seokjin shook his head and tugged you along,
"Hurry!" He exclaimed, making you decide to forget the backpack. With quick steps you ran into a clothing shop. Nam-joon urged you forwards, pointing at changing rooms, where he sprinted in into one himself and closed behind him. You and Seokjin looked at the same point, realising it was only one free left. He motioned you in front of him into the changing room then followed along before closing the door. It seemed to be in the last second as you now once more heard the loud chatter entering the mall and the shop. You stood pressed up against the wall in the changing room, which inconveniently was rather small, and certainly not made for two people. Seokjin leaned against the wall over you, being so close you could feel his fast breathing against you. You thought your heart was beating fast from the flee before, but this sudden situation, being so close to someone, you weren't sure if it was the fleeing or something else anymore. He opened his eyes and looked directly into yours, smiled and then looked as if he was about to laugh. However, you quickly stopped him by placing a finger on his lips, hearing how the chattering outside the changing rooms was loud. Suddenly the door to the room beside you was opened, and the screams of a lady inside changing echoed in the store. Seokjin arched his eyebrow at your finger, then at the screams. In the moment he was distracted by the screams, you realised how soft his lips were against your finger, sending jolts down your body. Hastily you withdrew your finger, resulting in him looking back at you. Both feared your door would be opened next. The two of you held your breath, staring into each other's eyes in silence, just about managing to hush your fast breathing. The adrenaline kept rising in your system, feeling nothing else than a cornered prey. Who were these chasing them? Were Nam-joon and Seokjin famous? You knew you should've read a more updated guide... Certainly one that wasn't released before 2005. You closed your eyes, trying to calm yourself, but in vain. Suddenly you felt how Seokjin pulled you up from the wall and into his arms, hugging you. His breathing was normal now, whilst you still seemed to breath rapidly. Surprised, you opened your eyes, but didn't oppose to it. He was warm and strong, as if keeping you safe. It helped against the prey feeling, but certainly didn't help against the unwanted butterflies. Of course, you could calm yourself, but this was something else... You remained in his grasp. Arguing seemed to have broken out outside the changing room, but you couldn't tell who and what they were saying, so you ignored it, deciding to be in the moment. Eventually a silence laid out and Seokjin breathed out, letting you go.
"They left." He said, looking at the door then back at you. He opened his mouth as if he was about to ask something hesitantly, but was interrupted by a Nam-joon who tugged the door open.
"You two okay?" Nam-joon asked, looking between you. Seokjin replied yes, where you nodded.
"Yoongi will pick us up soon, we just need to survive until then." He smiled, then probably said the same thing to Seokjin. They then proceeded to speaking in korean, seeming to discuss something. Meanwhile, you reached for your backpack, only to find nothing there. A hint of the previous adrenaline boosted up as you looked out into the mall, finding the spot where your backpack supposedly would've been was empty. However, you waited patiently for them to finish talking, as it seemed important. Seokjin noticed your agitated state first, and said something to Nam-joon who shortly afterwards turned to you as well,
"Something wrong? Sorry about this by the way..." He scratched his head, looking around a bit.
"My backpack was stolen... And uh... " You took a breath, "It's okay, I'm... I have no idea what is happening."
"Oh. I'm sure we can help you get back what was in the backpack." He smiled reassuringly. This made you feel somewhat better. His phone vibrated as he got a message.
"Yoongi is here." Nam-joon said as he looked up from the phone, then made a twirl and motioned for you to follow. You felt uncertain. Were you suddenly going to follow these absolute strangers into a random car after being chased by a hoard of crazy fans and paparazzi? Seokjin turned around as he saw you didn't follow, then smiled warmly at you and took your hand,
"Hurry." He tugged gently at you.
Seemed so.
