Holy hell, what were you doing?
Nope, not good.
But before you could cancel the call, a sleepy voice replied.
> "Hello? It's Seokjin."
Your heart raced when hearing his voice.
- "Aeeehhh, Hi.. It's [Y/N]."
As he replied, all sleepiness in his voice seemed gone, as if something had kicked him awake.
> "[Y/N]! Are you okay? It late. Something happened?"
You felt stupid for having called him this late, but there was no backing out now.
- "I'm okay, Jin, really!" You smiled, "Sorry, did I wake you? I didn't think about the hour..."
> "It's fine. Don't worry. What you doing?"
Was this it? Now? Okay, okay now!
- "I uhm... I-was-at-this-party-and-things-happened-and-it-made-me-think-soooo..." You heard how you spoke faster and faster. Damn this nervousness.
> "[Y/N], [Y/N], slower." He chuckled slightly.
- "Sorry, well... I was thinking about, things, and, well..." Eeeek! "Do you want to, meet up, and talk, or something? Do something, you know, like, yeah."
Wow, great job [Y/N], most awkward way to ask someone out ever. Genius.
> "I would." He took a second. Your world stood still. Did he just say yes? He did! "Where are you?"
- "Wait, now?" You asked surprised.
> "Yes." He insisted.
You looked around, seeing a road sign with street names. Taking a picture of them you sent him a text with it.
> "Okay, wait there." Seokjin said before you two hung up the line. Once again you were sitting in silence.
Oh my god.
He was coming here.
You did your best to straighten your hair and grabbed a gum. Thankfully, the air and the sitting down had helped your mind to clear a bit, not feeling just as drunk as before. Like you had suspected, the alcohol wasn't as strong as you first thought. The sound of music could be heard very faintly in the distance, but otherwise it was fairly silent. Some cars went by and one or two who were out walking. It was, after all, past midnight. You thanked the summer for being warm, not freezing just yet. The full moon shone strongly, casting light down on the streets. What was going to happen when he arrived? You didn't know what to expect. Nervous, you grabbed at some vines tangling themselves to the bench, starting to braid them. Cute, pink, flowers were growing from them. The braiding soon turned into a circle, then you added more vines, making it verdant, eventually braiding it into a crown. Focused, you jumped slightly as a pair of warm hands placed themselves on yours, then gently lifting the crown out of your grasp. Jin smiled at you as he took the crown and placed it upon your head.
"A crown for a princess." He smiled. You blushed vigorously, feeling how your entire body reacted to his presence. A warm sensation spread in your chest and into a smile. He held out his hand, helping you up. It looked somewhat like he had just stepped out of bed with messy hair, a pair of black pants and a baggy shirt, yet it suited him in some way. He eyed you as you stood up, making you aware of the party outfit you were wearing.
"Why you out?" Jin asked curiously as he began to lead you down the pavement, walking with you on his arm. It felt natural to do so. You were, as well, happy for it, being both tired and lacking a full sense of balance.
"There was a party." You admitted, "I left early, though."
"Oh, why?" He looked down at you. Damn you felt short.
"I... They were rude." You nodded, "It's okay though. I'm here now." Smiling at him, he smiled back, yet you thought you could spot a hint of a blush. The two of you walked in silence as you waltzed past the party location, observing it. Someone was puking in a bush whilst people stood cheering in a circle around him. It looked strange, but you put no thought into it. Instead, your whole mind capacity felt like it was circulating around Jin. Curiously, you decided to break the silence.
"Okay, answer this. Are you a cat or a dog person?"
"Oh! Both, but, dogs." He replied eagerly.
"It's a tough question, right?" You snickered.
"It is. My turn. Sunset, or sunrise?" Jin glanced down at you, smiling.
"Both have their charm, right? Buuut... Sunrise." You nodded.
"Me too. I'm usually finished with my work then."
"Were you working now?" You arched an eyebrow.
"Writing text for a song." He said, leading you down another road, taking some turns. It felt like he knew exactly where to go.
"How's it going?"
"Well... " He said, but paused, as he took a last turn. You found yourself outside your apartment area, having no idea how you got there so fast. This time you loosened yourself from his arm and took his hand, leading him on. There was no way you were ending the date right away like this. He followed along as you lead him past the apartment complex and to an empty backyard. It was well taken care of with tall trees and several flower bushes decorating the green area. You lead him to a somewhat hidden grass spot and sat down. He followed, sitting down in front of you, close. The tension between you was strong, but at the same time you felt relaxed. It was tranquil where you were, with the moon shining down and the stars glimmering. One neighbour seemed awake who had his window slightly open, playing a peaceful melody into the night.
"I was scared, [Y/N]." He looked up at you with a genuine expression, "Of the effects."
You understood him. If you were in his position, you'd be scared of the consequences too. You looked directly into his eyes, listening to his words.
"But... " His voice trailed off and his gaze wandered away. You glanced at him with a soft expression, not wanting to scare him off. A few seconds later he turned his head back and looked at you with a determined smiled,
"[Y/N], not with you." He said, then he leaned forwards with a tilted head before pressing his lips gently against yours, kissing you softly. You couldn't think clearly. Your entire mind, and body, was working in an overload. Violent butterflies crashed through your veins and jolts of electricity shook your core.
He was kissing you! You! Yes you! DO SOMETHING!
You leaned closer, meeting his lips with your own pressure; they were silky against yours, and a sweet taste reached you. That familiar scent of his filled your lungs and bewitched your mind. It was magical. For what felt like an eternity, you two shared the moment under the stars together before letting go to breath. The two of you remained close, resting against each other by placing your forehead against his.
"Jin..." You whispered, feeling like you'd burst into a joyful laughter at any moment. The happiness was overflowing, ready to explode.
"[Y/N]." He whispered back.
