Acting was tough in this course. Really tough. Considering you were only eleven students in it, a lot of spotlight was put on you since you were the only exchange student. Yet you felt as if you kept up decently, despite the language barrier at times. It had gone over five days since that last text, and you had almost forgotten about it. It was Friday and you had decided that this weekend was going to be a calm, stay at home and study weekend. No wild adventures into unknown parts of the city where you'd probably get lost. You sat with your study friends at lunch, picking at the plate in front of you.
"Did you hear that G-Dragon is going to do military service?" One began, and so the discussion was started. They all seemed very well invested in the subject, but you made no effort to get involved. The cafeteria was filled with students in many different ages, all from eager ones to those drowning in coffee just trying to survive another day, having done so for so long they had begun questioning if sleep was even a necessary part for the human species anymore. Back at home, the latter was more normal than one would think, but most people tried to cover it up. Perhaps university here, and back home, weren't all too different after all. You woke up from your thoughts when Seo-yeon, a classmate, poked you.
"Heard about our first task?" The group looked at you.
"No..? We haven't been given any information yet." You frowned gently, curious on what information she held that you didn't. "It starts in another week or two as far as I know."
"The first thing is going to be a duo project. Each duo gets an assigned theme, then we're to write our own short play, or whatever, then switch with another duo who wrote one and play theirs out." She clapped her hands. You smiled,
"That seems fun. Any ideas yet?" You asked, genuinely finding the idea fun.
"Oh just imagine the drama." Seo-yeon said with a daydreaming voice. "Me and one of the boys-.."
Min-lee poked at her with a childish grin, as if to hint something. Clearly Seo-yeon had a crush.
"Sounds like a solid idea you got there Seo." You giggled along with the others. The bell rang as if to symbolise that classes would start again. It was an old building, but you found the bell charming. The three of you stood up and headed over to your classroom. Before you even had time to sit down, you noticed how the teacher sprung out from the class room, wildly engaged in something. On her way out she yelled into the room that the students would stand up and be proper. You looked at your classmates who were equally as confused. What was the fuss about?
You heard someone talk to the teacher outside the room, who seconds later more or less opened the door and pushed no other than Seokjin inside. You gasped, along with your classmates, as he Kindly made an entrance. What was he doing here? Was this purely a coincidence? Butterflies jolted awake in your body. He once more turned to the teacher in order to say something. Seo-yeon leaned over to you to translate, whispering, extremely excited.
"He said he just came here to leave something to someone."
You arched both of your eyebrows, was it you? Or someone else. Why did you get so many emotions over this?
The teacher waved his comment off and turned to the class, as if introducing the students to him, yet it was evident they already knew of him. Seo-yeon continued to translate;
"Perhaps you'd like to stay and watch our next performances?" The teacher clapped her hands. His gaze wandered the classroom until he stopped at you, having your gazes meet. Your knees felt weak. He smiled.
"Can I talk to [Y/N] first?" He asked the teacher politely, who looked equally as surprised as the students at this question. They looked at you. The teacher nodded, clearing her throat,
