On your way home you realised you still had to go to the police for your backpack, feeling stupid for forgetting it. However you forgave yourself since you got changed plans when Big Hit called you. Instead of taking a left, you took a soft right and began strolling down the street towards the police station. The summer Sunday was just as beautiful as yesterday with a warm sun and few clouds. Teenagers walked around on the streets with their phones up, seemingly playing some newly released game. A window stood open to an apartment, letting out the sound of someone playing a piano beautifully, giving the whole moment a quite tranquil state. Unfortunately you still felt quite stressed, making you hurry your steps even further. Without thinking about it for much, you soon realised you were passively looking across the streets as if searching for someone or something, yet you couldn't decide if it was a specific person or a hoard of them you were keeping a look-out for. As you went through the doors to the station you took a number note and sat down. The TV on the wall was showing the news, showing the weather. Just as you were about to lose interest in the sunny display it switched over, showing a picture of BTS. You almost choked on your own breath as you realised from the pictures that they explained how two of the BTS members, RM and Jin, had been seen chased by fans and paparazzi as early as yesterday. The next picture was of Namjoon and Seokjin with a blurry photo running. You realised the third person with a big question-mark hovering over was you. Blood rushed quickly to your face. Did they know? You couldn't understand what they said, but how could they? You told yourself it was okay, and there was no way they'd figure it out.
Your thoughts were interrupted as your number was called up. Standing up you made your way to the desk to a tired looking woman.
"Hi, ma'am. I'd like to report a stolen backpack." You said, smiling at her. She held up a finger and called over her colleague, apparently so she could be helped with the language. They pointed at the screen together and nodded.
"When and where?" The first police asked. This is when you realised you actually had no idea which mall you had been in.
"Uh, we were in a mall... Yesterday, around ten." You replied hesitantly. "Do you have a map? I could.. Probably point at it."
"Of course." The second police said, taking out a map and helping you locate the mall. "So what happened? Did you see who grabbed it?"
"It was a girl, around seventeen I think?" You guessed, "I was... Making my way downtown, walking fast, and in the mall when she grabbed it and it ripped at the seams. Then she ran off." You figured it was against your own good to explain you had been out with BTS on an escape mission considering the news. The two women acknowledged your words and looked back at the screen for a while, pointing and talking. You looked back at the TV but the news were now changed over to something else.
"Do you know if anyone else has reported your backpack stolen?" The second one suddenly asked. You arched an eyebrow,
"No? No not that I know." You felt surprised. Who else would report your backpack stolen?
"Okay... " She nodded slowly, then looked up at you and smiled, "Just write down your contact information here and what was in the backpack, and we'll be good to go."
After writing down everything they needed, as well as the items in the bag, you made for an exit and into the sunny afternoon, feeling relieved the report was made, but stressed that the media had begun a fuss around what you were involved with... Nothing you could do anything about right now anyway.

The next morning you woke up early, getting ready to head over to the university. You had to go earlier than usual in order to get a new student ID. Your morning routines went smoothly and as usual, your neighbour greeted you on the way out before he got into his car and drove off. Entering the university you approached the desk and held a sheepish smile.
"Morning, ma'am."
The receptionist eyed you before smiling,
"Morning. How can I help you?"
"My backpack was stolen this weekend which held my student ID." You admitted, downheartedly. Doing an excellent performance of guilt. "Is there a way I could get a new one? I've reported the item stolen to the police."
"I suppose so. Name and course?" She looked over at her monitor.
"[Y/N] [Y/S]. I'm partaking in the acting course." You smiled. It was one of the best courses in the country, and hard to enter, specially for an exchange student. The woman nodded and printed out an ID, then went to laminate it. As you stood waiting, you suddenly felt someone knocking on your shoulder. You looked over, finding a younger boy smiling at you with a letter in his hand.
"Oh.. For me? Thank you.." You accepted the letter, and in the next second he ran off. The receptionist gave you the temporary ID, explaining she would fix a new permanent one if the backpack wasn't back within a week. You thanked her and went off to open the letter.
"Hi [Y/N], we know it was you who was with Namjoon and Jin. Text this number or everyone else will know too. Xoxo."
Below those words stood a number. You frowned heavily. Was this blackmailing? You ignored the message, deciding to deal with it later, and went to your class.

Once home, you remembered the letter which you got. You sighed over the fact that you hadn't asked the boy who gave it to you who it was from, but decided it was best to simply ask the person to give you your backpack back. You took up your phone and entered the number.

-"Hello?"
> "You'll answer our questions or everyone will know, okay?"
- "I don't have anything to say. This is ridiculous. Just give me my items back."
> "You answer first. Who are Namjoon and Jin to you?"
You stopped replying, feeling uncertain of what to do next. This person felt like she lacked reasoning with, but if you didn't answer then you might as well have ruined everything. The best thing to do here was to try and work around answering anything... Until you had a better plan.
Taking up the phone again you replied.
- "Members of BTS, right? Why did you steal my backpack?"
> "You're lying. How long have you known them?"
- "Why is that important? Why are you trying to blackmail me?"
> "We know it was you!! Are you dating one of them?!?"
As she sent the last message a surge of energy rushed at you. What an outrageous idea! You dating Seokjin... You repeated that sentence in your head. You dating Seokjin. Oh goodness. No, no, you had other priorities and certainly so did they. You felt how you got more and more upset as time went on in this texting. Why did she think this type of texting was okay? You had done literally nothing. And still, if she went out and told everyone it would not only ruin the contract you had, possibly the career of Seokjin and Namjoon and most likely your acting.
- "If you care so much about these boys, do you really think they'd approve of what you're doing right now?"
> "Omg. Do you think you're better? You're not worthy! 😡"
- "I just want my backpack back, and right now you are greatly complicating things over a small incident, which by the way, you caused in the first place. So, foremost, your thievery is a crime, secondly, what you're doing right now is by no means okay behaviour. I will not play by your games."
> "This is not over, bitch. 👿"
You almost threw your phone away, only to stop yourself in the last minute. All stress, anger and confusion bubbled up and you had to bite your tongue not to cry. This is not what you had expected coming to this country. You ended up watching some korean drama in the bed, being a love story between a soldier and a doctor, whilst eating ice cream and trying to forget that several of your items were stolen, someone tried to blackmail you and you'd potentially risk getting into a massive drama on a national scale.
