You woke up in your familiar dorm, yet you didn't quite feel at home. Today you had to go to the police. After all, your backpack was still gone. Thankfully you had left passport and such at home, but there was still items in there of value. As you poured milk into a cereal bowl your phone rang, being an unknown ID. You picked up the phone and answered, suspicious of the call.
"Good morning, [Y/N][Y/S]." Some lady voice said on the other line. Who the heck? "I am calling from BigHit Entertainment. We would like to schedule a meeting with you."
"BigHit Entertainment?" You asked, having little to no idea who they were.
"We were informed you had a little run in with Bangtan Sonyeondan yesterday." You realised she must be talking about Seokjin and his friends. It made sense.
"Oh, of course. Yes. Sure." You replied, "Where and when?"
"I believe it's for the better we send you a car to drive you here, yes?" She commented, but expected no answer. "10:30 will be good?"
You threw a glance at your watch, spotting it to be in half an hour.
"Alright!" You nodded, knowing she wouldn't see the gesture anyway. The call ended shortly thereafter, sparking a race for you to get ready. Whilst eating your breakfast you also brushed your hair and did your makeup, then threw on some decent clothing whilst brushing your teeth. It was a marvel to see for anyone feeling inspired by multitasking. In the last minutes you rushed out through the door and down to the street. Your neighbour greeted you again before he got into his car and drove off. On the street stood a white car parked. A woman came out to greet you from BigHit Entertainment and opened the back door. You hopped in, once more considering all those stories of kidnapping, then ruled out this situation. Shortly thereafter the car began rolling through the streets of the city. It was much smoother going by car, you judged, seeing as this time around the driver actually knew where you were going. After about half an hour of absolute silence in the car pulled in to a garage. As you hopped out from the vehicle into the white and clean room, you were lead to an elevator which brought you up to a waiting room. The driver vanished off, leaving you in the waiting room alone. White, round seats were scattered around the room; large windows showed you were in a tall tower and far up; four tactically positioned plants gave the area some colour and one flat rug made the difference between an otherwise cold and white floor. Chatter was heard in the distance. You walked over to the window, looking out over the city. It was different from home, but good, you told yourself, despite the home sickness which struck you. However you weren't allowed to remain with your thoughts for long before a man called your name,
"[Y/N][Y/S], please this way." You spun around and saw the well-dressed man who motioned for you to follow him, which you did. Passing through a corridor with offices you eventually came to a meeting room. It was light, just like the other parts of the building, and had a big screen on the wall Two others were already in the room, one man and one woman. They greeted you, as you did in return.
"Please, have a seat." One of them said, having you sit down on the right side, with the three others opposite of you. Suddenly it felt as if you were being inquired.
"Welcome to Big Hit Entertainment, [Y/N]." The man smiled politely at you, whilst the other two were fixing with their papers. "I take it you know why you're here?"
"Thank you. I'm afraid I don't." You replied, doing your best to remain as formal as possible. He didn't arch an eyebrow.
"We were informed you met with our Bangtan Sonyeondan yesterday, which included running from paparazzi, being driven by one of the members in their car and spending time in their residence, yes?" He asked calmly.
"That is correct."
"Due to the nature of Bangtan Sonyeondan, we are bound to ensure their publicity is kept intact." The woman spoke up, sliding over a paper. "I am sure you understand."
You arched an eyebrow and took the paper closer, reading it.
It stated that you weren't allowed to give out information to the public or others about things like their residency, what interactions you had and so forth. It made sense. And it's not like it would hurt to sign this? Who were you going to tell anyway?
"For how long does this last?" You looked back up.
"It's until further notice." She smiled, saying nothing else. You took a breath.
"Okay, that's fair..." You took the pen she held out and signed the contract.
The exit was quick afterwards, as you were thanked and lead out. The driver offered to drive you anywhere, so you were a while later dropped off outside a mall you were familiar with. Still, a lot of thoughts went through your mind. And Seokjin. It was strange how much your heart had fluttered when he smiled at you. Yet, there was no way it would work. So why did you feel disappointed you didn't see him at the meeting? Further thoughts were disregarded, and you went inside the mall. It was a quick visit to the phone shop to fix internet, which gave you some spare time. As you walked down the mall you stopped outside a window with wide eyes. It was them. Not inside the store, but a music video, and a lot of merchandise. You had recognised Namjoon and Seokjin quickly in the music video, then on the bags and t-shirts.
BTS.
A.R.M.Y.
The store was full of it. You went inside the store, inspecting the items. There were other groups represented too, but by far most of Bangtan Sonyeondan. They really were a big group... It made even more sense you signed that contract, considering what sensitive information it would be in the wrong hands. You moved over to a screen playing their music, then took the headphones and began listening. It was good, really. You smiled and hung the headphones back on it's stand, then went out the store, proceeding back home. You were happy you finally got some clarity to the entire situation, but they were just humans like anyone else, despite their popularity... This changed nothing.
Or at least that's what you told yourself.
