Altair awoke with a huge headache. He looked around dazedly and half blinded from the bright light. He noticed that he was heavily chained down. Hundreds of pounds of metal chains were keeping him on his knees. Altair couldn't move, much less breathe. He worried about Lilith, where was she?
"Ahh, I see you have awoken," spoke an unknown person, sitting on a throne. The dazed Altair quickly searched the room for the speaker. The figure continued, "You've caused a lot of trouble for me, taking the revival spell and killing my prized commanders."
He slowly stood up from his seat. Dusting himself off, the figure walked closer to Altair.
Pulling Altair's face to look up at his, the figure spoke, "Oh, where are my manners? My name is Samuel, better known The Dark Lord."
Altair spat in Sam's face, "Where is Lilith!?"
"Don't worry, you'll see her soon and it won't be pleasant for you. But for me, it'll bring untold amounts of joy," Samuel explained with a sinister grin, "speak of the devil, here she comes."
As soon as the words left Samuel's mouth, a pristine metal cart rolled into the room. Mia was the one pushing the cart and top of it, Lilith was strapped down by rope.
"Altair!" Lilith screamed out.
Altair was going to speak hopeful words, until Samuel silenced him with rope.
"You don't get to speak, you only get to watch," Samuel informed.
He slowly walked towards cart, "Let's see. Mia darling, bring in the tools please."
Altair tried to protest but all that came out was muffling. Mia came back in with another cart. This one much larger and filled with numerous tools. From Altair's perspective, he could see a saw, knives of different sizes, spikes, and poison.
Fear filled Lilith's eyes. Tears started streaming down her cheeks.
"Don't cry little one. We'll start off easy," assured Samuel, as he was lighting a candle. He brought the candle over to Lilith's stomach, where there was bare skin. The candle started melting and after a few minutes, the first wax drop fell. It fell right onto Lilith's stomach, sizzling as it landed.
Lilith screamed out in pain. "This is only the beginning, it'll get worse. Much worse," preluded Samuel as he pulled out a metal rod. Nothing seemed special about the rod, until it started buzzing with electricity.
Samuel proceeded to whack Lilith with the rod. Each hit sent shocks of electricity through her body. Altair tried moving his heavy chains. Trying to scream stop, only to be held back by the rope and a mountain of chains. He smelled burnt flesh in the air, it was coming from Lilith's direction. Each hit from the electric rod burned her skin, caused muscle convulsion, and extreme pain.
"P...p..p-please, no more." softly cried Lilith. She began to struggle, trying to escape the torture. Altair could see that every small movement brought pain to Lilith.
"Oh, honey darling... We're no even close to finishing." said Samuel in a singsong voice. He then continued to bring out a small dagger, the size of Lilith's hand. Samuel gave a sinister sneer. He hovered the dagger over Lilith's right arm.
With a swift movement, Samuel plunged the dagger into Lilith's arm. It was about three inches into the arm, the edge facing upwards towards the shoulder. Blood began to spurt out. It started to flow down the side of the cart. Lilith's eyes were dilating rapidly, shocked that her arm has a dagger in it. Samuel looked at Altair. With his eyes staring right into Altair's, Samuel began to push the dagger straight up, cutting through the arm.
Lilith screamed, the scream is indescribable because of the amount of pain behind it. Altair was furious, he began trying harder to break the chains surrounding him. The blood flowing from the cart finally reached Altair. It touched his shoe and Altair could feel the warm liquid soak his foot. Then, the smell hit him. There was a metallic smell lingering in air, it left an unpleasant taste in Altair's mouth.
Samuel looked away from Altair. He looked down on the cart, where a little girl was strapped onto. Her butterscotch brown hair splattered with blood. Her white dress stained with the crimson liquid. Her face scrunched up in pain, tears flowing steadily down her cheeks. Samuel laughed a heartful laugh. Oh, how beautiful the scene was to Samuel's eyes.
"Master, may I have a turn," asked Mia, who had been analyzing the whole ordeal with fasciation in her eyes.
"Mhmm, well... Yea, sure. Let loose, I don't care if she dies," Samuel answered without a care in the world.
Mia grinned. She went up to the cart with the tools and looked carefully at each tool. With every tool, she looked back to Lilith. Perhaps she was trying to figure out which one would cause the most pain. Finally, Mia chose a sledge hammer on the top right corner. It was 3-4 feet tall with an iron hammer head.
"Oh, are you the one that Altair revived?" asked Mia, saying Altair with venom. "Nevermind, it won't matter after I'm done with you." explained Mia.
Mia snickered. She then proceeded to lift the hammer high above her head. And with one fell swoop, she brought down the hammer. It perfectly hit her target, Lilith's left thigh. It hit the leg with a loud crack. Lilith's femur had been broken into two parts. The upper part of the femur had been pushed through the skin, bursting out of the thigh. It was jagged, blood dripping down the bone. Her life juice glistening because of the lights above....
Lilith looked down. She stared at the femur bone, she stared and stared. Then, Lilith screamed. She screamed like never before. Her scream pierced through the air. It echoed around the whole dungeon. Altair looked at her with gaping eyes, seeming guilty for not being able to help.
THe scream abruptly stopped. Silence enveloped the dungeon, not a sound to be heard. Altair looked at Lilith, she wasn't moving.
Then, it seemed like time slowed down. Altair could barely move when the shadows began to pull towards Lilith. "This has been the worst birthday ever..."
