Ambrosia: Altered Memories

Lilith

"Lilith. Lilith. Wake up." Said a familiar voice. Lilith opens her eyes to see Lily, her mom. "Sweetie, you're gonna be late to school if you don't get up." Lilith stands up from her bed. "Breakfast is on the table for you after you get dressed. After you eat-" Lily is stopped when she doesn't see Lilith anymore. All she heard was footsteps down the stairs.

"Yum! Bacon and pancakes!" Lilith said with excitement. She started to dig in when she heard footsteps.

"Don't choke on the food, I've heard it's bad for your health." Lily said walking down the stairs. "Hope you know that I spent a whole 30 seconds making this for you." Lily said jokingly.

"Oh I'm SSSOOO sorry for you." Lilith said back a little cocky.

"Think you can do better?" Lily said as if she was challenging her.

"I think? I know." Lilith said even more cocky.

"Show me." Lily ordered. Lilith stands up and gets ready. "Ready? Go!" Lilith starts to conjure up some food. 25 second later she finishes. "Good, good. The only thing is that none of it is cooked." Points out Lily.

"Oh shi-" starts Lilith when her mom covers her mouth as her dad starts to walk down the stairs.

"Young lady, do you think you are saying the word sh*t?" Asked Lily. Lilith did not respond.

"It just slipped honey, there's no need to worry. We have those moments, too" Sam said calmly.

"Well, well, well. Look who finally woke up, my fluffy little Marshmallow." teased Lily.

"Look who's happy today," Sam says giving Lily a kiss on the forehead. "Gotta go to work. See you later sweetie," Sam says even more calmly then before. He kissed Lilith on the top of her head and points out, "Shouldn't you be heading to school soon?"

"Oh yeah! Gotta or I'll miss walking to school with Jonas." Lilith grabs her backpack and runs out the door to catch up with Jonas. "Hi Jonas," Lilith says all cute like.

"Hi. How's your morning been?" Jonas asks.

"Pretty good. Tried to make food this morning but completely failed because it took me 25 seconds to find out what food I was going to use. Then I didn't even cook it. I also saw my dad this morning." Lilith says happily.

"Don't you only see him like every month?" Jonas asked.

"Yeah, you don't go home very often when you're always hunting people as a wizard." Lilith says defensively.

"Sorry. Didn't mean to offend." Jonas says sounding sorry.

"It's ok. You just forgot." Lilith say comforting him. "Jonas, this is sudden but, I wanna know if you want to-" Lilith was cut off when Mason runs between them. "Hey Mason," Lilith says blushing.

"What was the question you were going to ask Lilith?" questions Jonas.

"Nothing. I'll tell you later. We are at school now." Lilith points out. She walks ahead still red from talking to those two boys. She starts to run to cross the street. On the other side is a man with black hair with red ends. Lilith doesn't care about looking both ways when crossing the road. She keeps running. She gets to the road when this man runs toward her pushing her away from an incoming car. She stares at what see caused. She's terrified. She runs to get help.

She bumps into Jonas trying to run back home. "Lilith." Jonas says as she runs away. She is on a mission and doesn't need her crush stopping her. She arrives home and tell Lily everything. Lily goes to help. They carry him home to care for him. After hours of care, he wakes up.
