Malik's POV
After waiting for a few more hours, we got ready to rescue our yamis. As Kaiba re-explained the plan one last time, he passed out headsets. I fixed mine to fit comfortably on my ear. Kaiba then turned the signal on and went in another room to test it. "Can you hear me?" His voice resonates through the speaker of the headset. "Yeah, loud and clear." I speak up as a bunch of 'yeahs' fill the room. "Alright, perfect." Kaiba says before walking back into the room. We all then turned the headsets off until further notice. "Alright, now let's get going." Kaiba said, grabbing his phone and a little device that he had set the map out on. The six of us set out to Kaiba's limo. Everyone proceeded to get in and buckled up. A moment later Kaiba had joined us. He must have been talking to his driver about where to go.
The ride seemed long. Not short, but not long enough to be considered a trip either. The ride was as long as a trip to the downtown area of the city. Soon, we stopped. Kaiba was the first one to get out. But before hand he told a to wait a moment before following him. I stared out the window and saw a bunch of trees and bushes. I can see why the kidnappers chose a place like this for its victims. No one would really think to look for them around an area like this. With nothing else to look at, I sit back in my seat and wait for Kaiba like the rest of us.
Almost ten minutes later, Kaiba came back and knocked on the door semi lightly, signally us to get out. One by one, we filed out of the vehicle. "Don't turn on the headsets just yet." He orders once we're all out. "I found the entrance and it's unguarded for the time being. We need to hurry and make this rescue as quick as possible to ensure that none of them gets harmed anymore than they have been." Kaiba starts. He pulls out the GPS system he grabbed when we left his house. He peers down at it after pressing a few things on the screen. "So far they're all still in the same room and the kidnappers are inside the building as well, but scattered around." Kaiba informs, then looks back to us. "Everyone remember what to do?" He asks, sternly. We all nod our heads. "Follow me then." He said. Kaiba must have scouted out where the hideout is when we first got here. Only a few minutes have passed and I'm already getting worried. I'm hoping that none of them are hurt or injured. If they are, hopefully not enough where they can't be treated.
"Here." Kaiba points as he stops suddenly. We gather around him and stare at the man made door that Kaiba had just recently uncovered. "Down there eh?" Joey starts. "Don't worry my friends, Joey is here to save the day!" Joey smiles eagerly, pumping his fist into the air. Tristan slaps him upside the head to bring him back down to earth with the rest of us. "Thanks for that Tristan." Kaiba thanks him, straight faced. "Ouch! What was that for?" Joey asks, rubbing the side of his head. "Didn't want your ego to explode. That's what for." Tristan answers. "Yeah, you didn't have to slap me that hard though did you?" Joey grumbles, not really worried if he got an answer to his question or not. He probably didn't want to know anyways. "Now that everyone is done goofing off," Kaiba stares at Joey for a few seconds. "We've got a rescue mission to complete." He finishes and then bends down to work with the lock. It takes a minute or two, but he manages to crack the code.
Kaiba stands up and turns to Tristan and Tea. "If you see or hear anyone, let us know immediately. If you intercept anyone, run for it. Don't try to go back to the car and don't get caught. I'll be able to find you as long as you have your cells or the headset turned on. We'll be back as soon as possible along with the others. We're not leaving without them. Understood?" Kaiba explains to them. "Right." Tea says, trying not to get emotional. Kaiba gives a nod of his head for us to turn on the headsets and follow him.
The rest of us descend the quick little staircase. Since Tea and Tristan are staying above ground to keep lookout, there's only four of us left. Once we get to the first turn, Kaiba speaks up again. "We'll go in groups of two to cover this place from top to bottom to find them. I'll take Joey with me to the left and you two head right." Kaiba explains in a low voice. Like we've been doing the whole time, we nod for what seems like the tenth time. I walk slightly in front of Ryou and lead us down the long hallway.
