Yami's POV
Yugi and I were out in the living room with Hana one day watching the dueling tournament of the week. All of a sudden Hana starts crying and kicking her hands and feet. "I wonder what's gotten into her.." I softly wonder aloud. Yugi goes and picks her up. He pats her back and gently bounces her, but she doesn't calm down. I watch Yugi helplessly try to soothe her. Poor kid. Maybe more of her teeth are trying to come in.
I get up and walk over to them. "Aibou, is she alright?" I ask, worried. He looks up at me with a disgruntled look on his face. "I, I don't know.. She's dry and I just fed her not too long ago." I go to answer when I catch Hana reaching for me out of the corner of my eye. I smile, really happy about this. "Let me try something." Yugi raises an eyebrow at me confused. "S-sure.." I take Hana from him and rub her back as I hold her close. She slowly stops crying and cuddles up to me. Yugi stares at me with parted lips and shock written all over his face. "I guess she wanted me." I shrug. He smiles and gently hugs me. "I'm glad she's warming up to you Yami. I was afraid that she wouldn't." He says, not letting go just yet. "Me too aibou, me too. I didn't think that she would anytime soon. I've been out of her life all of this time." I explain, trying to keep my emotions in check. I take a hand and rub his shoulder. Yugi leans into my touch as I stand there and hold them both. Today ended up being a really good day as that's all Hana wanted, me to hold her and give her all of my attention.
A/N: Weeeeee, another short chapter. More so a filler chapter than anything is why it's so short. Same as the one before too. Hope you guys enjoyed. Would have updated sooner, but I had some Christmas related things that I had to do first.
Yami- She's finally warming up to me more.
Yugi- I'm glad.
Me- See Yami, I told you she would.
Yami- Well, I'd like to cut today's commentary short. I want to go be with her some more.
Yami gets up to leave. Yugi smiles and nods.
Me- Sure.
I smile.
Yugi- See you guys later then since yami's getting really attached to Hana now.
