My skirt swayed around my bare legs as I walked through the halls of the academy, looking for Mary before class. I couldn't find her yesterday after I went to confront Yumeko and I knew that I had to be there with her so she was able to face whatever was going to happen to her. I rounded the corner and stopped dead in my tracks, glaring at the figure at the end of hallway. They also stopped and everyone around me went silent, awaiting the battle that would surely take place.

Plastering the fakest smile that I could on my face, I walked towards the figure, waving my hand.

"Oh, what an unexpected suprise seeing you here." I giggled, holding my blushing cheek with my hand. The person laughed along with me and I could feel everyone holding their breath whilst watching the bizarre exchange.

"Of course you'd see me, we go to the same school silly! Plus, I was just delivering something to your classroom as a little morning job!" They said and my blood ran cold. I smiled tighter, concealing my anger under a blush as I thought about how badly I wanted the person stood in front of me to feel immense pain and suffering. Don't you dare try and play me like a fool!

"Oh really, like what?" I said and they sneered at me, laughing erratically. My eyes darkened and we made eye contact, the fierceness from our eyes mixing together. Just as I was about to say something, I saw Yumeko and Suzui walking down the hall towards me.

"Good morning Aiko...oh who's this?" Yumeko questioned and I heard Suzui gulp as he saw who she was referring to. I growled lowly before smiling at the person who Yumeko was talking to, pointing a finger at them.

"This is Runa," was all I said and Runa laughed, holding onto her stomach and shaking so hard that her stupid bunny ears attached to her hoodie began to flop around wildly. After a couple of moments she stopped, straightened up and sent me a mischievous look.

"Now, now Aiko. Introduce me properly..." Runa said teasingly and I gritted my teeth, openly showing my anger. Yumeko glanced between us and I sighed before hissing out what Runa wanted to hear.

"This is Yomozuki Runa." I snapped and Yumeko's eyes widened as she made the link between us both of us. I glared, anger taking over my body whilst Runa laughed, probably enjoying every moment. I hated this stupid brat! I snarled at her and she looked up at me, trying to look innocent although I knew a lot better than that.

"Yes Yumeko, this is my older sister!" She said, leaning in to try and give me a hug. I stepped back like she was on fire and wiped my hands on my skirt, disgusted that she would even try anything like that. Yumeko looked curious as to how Runa knew her name so Runa started to explain, whilst grinning from ear to ear.

"You've made quite the impression on the student council Yumeko despite the fact that you've only been here for one day or so!" Runa said before giggling as the warning bell to get to class went off. "You guys better get to your class, there's a surprise waiting there, so I don't think that you wanna miss out!" I glared as Runa said the last part of the sentence, knowing that she was specifically talking about Mary.

"Runa!" I yelled, advancing slowly towards her, "I swear to god..." I started and Runa laughed before a sadistic and twisted smile took over her face.

"No, go on finsh that sentence...I'm sure father would love to hear it." Runa said, pulling my tie so that I was at her level. I glared as I saw the twisted smile on her face and we locked eye contact, wishing that the other would cease to exist. Gritting my teeth, I stepped back from her, anger flaming in my eyes and straightened up my tie before taking a deep breath. Forcing a smile, I waved at her.

"Be careful Runa, that mouth of yours might land you in some hot water some day." I said whilst walking away, anger brewing in the pit of my stomach. Runa laughed and sighed before speaking.

"And you too, your friends aren't really the type of people that deserve to even exist!" Runa said and I snarled but played it off, walking past Yumeko and Suzui, determined to get to class. Yumeko gasped in surprise and fell into step with me, Suzui catching up a second later. For a few moments we walked in silence, my glares scaring off anyone who even dared to look at me before Yumeko spoke up.

"Your sister seems like a handful." She said and I paused before looking at her with the calmest look I could possibly muster.

"Which is exactly why I wanted her dead," was all that I could say, continuing to walk like nothing had even happened or that I hadn't said something so drastic. Yumeko beamed, falling back into step with me as we all ventured to class.

Even about two doors away, I could hear the rhythmic chant of the students in my class. I snarled and raced ahead of Suzui and Yumeko, almost kicking down the door in the hurry that I was in. The door crashed open and the chant stopped, all the attention focused on me. The class had fallen silent when they saw the calmness in my eyes. Stepping forward, I made me way over to Mary who was stood at her desk with her head hanging low.

In typical 'school tradition', on the first day of becoming a HousePet, the students table is defaced with degrading words and a broken doll that resembled the student. Waves of sadness crashed over me as I saw the HousePet tag around Mary's neck but I concealed it keeping the same neutral expression. Deeply sighing, I knew I was going to regret what I was planning to do next but I knew that it had to be done.

"Mary will be my pet from now on, no questions asked." I said whilst addressing the whole class. Nobody moved apart from Suzui who was looking at me in shock. It was common for people to claim HousePets for themselves but a lot of people in our year hated Mary so it would be a challenge to claim 'ownership' over her without anyone else interfering. A chuckle was heard across the room and I tutted as Sora strutted over to me, a wide grin on his face.

"And why would I let you do that Aiko...Mary deserves everything that's coming to her." He said and I smiled at him, a warning look on my face. Stepping ever so slightly closer to him, I placed a hand on his arm and giggled.

"Sora, I don't think you understand what I'm saying. Mary is mine." I said and Sora tutted, pushing me away and yelling at me. I did nothing as he advanced towards Mary, pulling her face roughly by her chin until she was looking at me.

"Sora! I suggest that you let go of my pet now before I make you regret it." I snarled and Sora leered over at me, pushing Mary to the floor. I snarled at this and Sora stepped towards me, his large frame towering over me.

"What are you gonna do about it, huh? Gamble me for the right over Mary? As if you'd ever stand a chance!" He yelled and I laughed, a mad look taking over my eyes. Suzui gulped when he saw this and Yumeko stared in interest.

"I will run you into the ground and take every penny that you have, heed this warning Sora. I will destroy you and your perfect little life if you ever dare try and touch Mary again. Remember who I am and my family lineage!" I roared and the rest of the class murmured as they all waiting for Sora to respond to my threats.

"Oh you see, I would be scared but even your sister is more fearsome than you." He smirked and all I could see was red as I reached up with my hand, striking him across the cheek. Collective gasps were heard around the classroom as Sora stood there, not saying or doing anything. The panic began to settle in as I thought of all the ways that Sora could make my life hell before I remembered that I had to do everything in my power to stop this bastard from hurting Mary.

"Stay out of my way." I darkly, walking around him and cleaning the stuff off Mary's desk and throwing it into the trash. I walked over to Mary who was still sat on the floor.

"Get up and come with me."

I'm so sorry for updating this so late but I rewrote this chapter several times because I wasn't sure if I liked it but I hope you guys enjoy it. We see Aiko getting angry in this chapter; not 100% but enough to make her slap Sora and face off with Runa, who is also her younger sister! I really wanted Aiko to be related to someone in the anime and I really liked Runa's character so why not! Believe it or not, both the sisters used to be very close but know they want to kill each other but all will be revealed soon. In the next chapter, Aiko isn't really gonna be around Suzui and Yumeko so don't expect to hear much about them next chapter until near the end. Bye for now!
