Hello everyone, OpalFt here!
We did it, we reached the end of Pain...
I'm slightly sad because it's almost like watching my child move out, go off to university and live life. I can no longer oversee my baby anymore because it's their life and they can accomplish anything that they want! That's how the process of writing Pain felt for me.
It was hard at times because I'm slightly lazy and my updating schedule sucked (and probably will suck forever, whether I've written five or fifty stories!) and I didn't really stick to my plot outline at all. But, that being said, Pain has taught me a lot too! Writing this has taught me how to adapt quickly and has brought back my passion for writing. Writing - for me- is something that I hope I never stop doing. I've been writing stories since I can remember and this project is something that I'm glad I decided to stick through to the end.
I still can't believe that this little story has been viewed over 30K times. Its just mind blowing. I'm very critical about my work (and yet I manage to let numerous grammar mistakes go under the radar! Bad Opal! Note to self: must edit book at some point!) and so to see people openly loving my writing and Aiko was very heart-warming for me. Thank you guys, I adore every single one of you.
I could go on and on for hours and hours if I could but all good things must come to an end.
