Heading back to the hotel in Florida, I drive the car back to the hotel because our driver was taking too long. I have a date with Jake in two hours and wew are 15 minutes behind schedule.
"Erika you are sweating" I hear Lauren say, I look out the corner of my eye to see her recording me. I was wearing glasses so she couldnt tell I was kind of looking at her, I was still paying attention to the road.
"Why would I be sweating?" I ask as I hear Kelly giggling in the back.
"Hmmm.... Think your gonna be late for something?" Lauren asks me. I then realize that they know that I have plans tonight with Jake.
"Lauren, I think you are just jealous that I have a date. A sweet, kind and cute one."
Kelly then burst out laughing. "You know? Lauren your just lonley!!!"
Lauren lowers her phone and throws her glasses to the back of the car at Kelly.
"OW!" Kelly shouts
"Guys Im driving!"
"Like a sweaty pig you are."
I have to drive with these two idiots.
JAKES P.O.V
Getting ready for the date, I head to Erikas apartment to pick her up. We drive there just talking about absolute nonsense. I dont know how the paparazzi found us but they did. I had to go outside and change my parking spot but they were just outside. I had Erika go inside quickly.
The last question some guy asked me was "hows the girlfriend" and I responded with a "she's good". I honestly felt so cringey but not as cringey as it was about a year ago.
Honeslty those people were stalkers and watching myself, I realized I am the most immature, cringiest adult that has ever lived.
Anywho I go into the resturant and see Erika sitting at a table looking at a menu.

E- Well you are a celebrity now Jake. What did you expect?
J- I mean im pretty used to it know but they are always asking a billion questions.
