I was sitting on my bed, legs crossed and my head in my hands with a Math book open in front of me. I was in deep thoughts and all those thoughts were about this one guy. You've guessed it correctly, it's Rahul. I don't know if it's his comical behaviour or his beautiful smile. Don't get me wrong, I don't like him at all. He's just a guy I happen to know. Actually I'm really confused, because my mind tells me not to get into boy drama but my heart beats faster every time I think of him. I seriously hope this won't last long, I don't think I've got time for feelings. I try to push these thoughts at the back of my mind but they keep on coming back.

Why was it every time I met Rahul it had to be he was either busy getting a girl into his bed or I had to be a clumsy little thing? I face plant myself on the bed and try to breathe. I just discovered this, you can not breath when your nose is squished against your bed. I sit back up and inhale while closing my eyes. Mamma and Pappa were downstairs discussing their trip to this botanical garden, they were planning on going with Rahul's parents.

"Tarai!" My mom called out to me as I set the pencil down and got up with a groan.

I trample down the stairs and come face to face with mamma giving me an excited yet stern look if that's even possible.

"Tarai! Your father, Rahul's parents and I decided to go on a trip to the botanical garden that opened yesterday! It's two states over from here so it's quite a long drive,"she says quietly while contemplating.

A fiesta takes place in my cloudy train out thoughts. I'll be home alone! It's exactly what I needed to get my mind off that stupid boy.

"But were going to make Rahul come over," she says holding her hands together with a serious look on her face. My fiesta came crashing down into the pit of my stomach as I looked at her with disbelief on my face.

"No!" I shriek and she looks at me in confusion. Oh if only you knew mom. If only you knew.

"Because the Agarwals don't want to leave him alone at their place, they don't want him to make a mess. Where as you young lady, I expect you to be mature." she orders pointing her finger at me and visibly making me gulp down any opposing thoughts.

"He will be staying in the guest bedroom. I want absolutely no touchy feely action. You two can not sit on your bed together. You shall not fool around. If he touches you you call me right away. You got that?" she asks authority is all thats present in her bossy tone.

Oh trust me mom. He wouldn't dare to touch me. Because most of the times I end up almost killing him.

Thing about indian parents, especially if you're a girl. No boys. It's was the golden rule.

However just imagine this.

Me, the boy that messes up my head and makes me want to punch him in the same house. For four straight days, I'll have to go without murdering him. This is going to be such a huge disaster.
