The perfect picture

Chapter 10

I woke up and stretched. Today was going to be a good day.

I sat up and looked at the clock.

It was 7:45. It was a tad early for me, but I've always been an early bird.

I got up and went into the bathroom.

I stripped my clothes off and stepped into the amazingly built shower.

I scrubbed my body and washed my hair in the hot water.

I just sat there a few minutes afterwards.

It was nice, sitting under the hot water, just thinking about life.

About 15 minutes later, I stepped out of the shower and into the chilly air.

I blow dried and straightened my hair and then went to my closet.

I looked at my outfit choices and decided on dark blue skinny jeans, a blue over sized sweater and some converse. I also decided to add a polka dot scarf with it.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed a quick bowl of Cheerios and grabbed Dakota.

I hooked Dakota up to her leash and grabbed my camera and purse.

We were on our way.

We walked through the forest for a little while until we came across side path.

I decided to take the path and it lead me to a lake.

The lake was frozen over and had a canopy of trees above it.

It wasn't the lake I saw from the date but it was still beautiful.

I snapped a quick photo and stayed there for a minute.

I took the sight in almost as it would be taken away from me in the next few seconds.

Soon I started walking back to the main trail.

In life there are beautiful things.

Sometimes you need to trust your instincts to find them.

But sometimes they are all around you,in a disguise.

You sometimes can't find the real beauty of something until you look into it.

That's how life is.. Beautiful.
