(One week later)

Taehyung walked down the halls of the school, his hands gripping the straps of his backpack so tight his knuckles were white. He had a hood on his head, covering his face.

He heard someone call his name but he shrugged it off, hoping the person would give up and move on. "Taehyung!" The voice shouted again.

Taehyung looked up to find Jimin running towards him. "Taehyung hey! Woah-" Jimin looked at Taehyung's face and cringed. "Tae, what the hell happened to your face?"

"N-nothing, Jimin. I'm late for class." Taehyung started walking away quickly. Jimin didn't follow as he was still shocked about Taehyung.

JUNGKOOK POV

Jungkook sat in history class watching as the students piled in. Taehyung walked in wearing a black hoodie, covering his face. Jungkook noticed that his steps were sluggish, and he seemed to be forcing himself to even move. He had seen this occurance out of the older before, but it had been happening a lot more in the last few weeks.

The bell rang, jerking Jungkook out of his thoughts. The door to the classroom slammed shut and the teacher began speaking. "Today we begin a project. For this project, I will put you into partners. You and your partner will pick a country and do extensive research. You will then give a presentation to the class about your country, and it's culture. You will have one week to complete this project. Now, here are the partners." (A/N: I had to re-type the word "shut" like a million times because I kept accidentally writing "shit", so if that doesn't tell you how dirty my fingers are when they're typing away, I don't know what does).

Jungkook zoned out until he heard his name. "Jeon Jungkook, you will work with Kim Taehyung." He could hear Taehyung groan in his seat. Jungkook chuckled lightly and smirked. This should be fun.

After the teacher finished assigning the rest of the partners, they were told to get with the other person and begin discussing the project. Jungkook, after noticing no movement from the older, walked over to Taehyung's desk, sitting in the empty seat next to him. Taehyung didn't even glance at the younger as he sat down.

"Okay," Jungkook began. "I don't know about you but I have a shitty grade in this class and I really need a good grade on this project if I'm going to graduate. So we really need to work together here for once."

"Taehyung!" Ms. Yoon shouted before Taehyung could respond to the younger. "You know the rules! No wearing hoods or hats in class! Please take it off."

Taehyung sighed deeply as he took the hood off of his head. "Okay, Jungkook. What country do you want to do?" He looked at the younger, and the younger winced.

"Now did somebody else beat you up, baby boy? Why would you let them do that when it's my job?" Taehyung had a black eye, a scratches on his cheek and neck, and a busted lip. Jungkook also noticed how puffy the older's eyes were, like he had been crying all night. That might explain why he had been so sluggish walking to his seat.

"I'll ask again, what country?"

"Hmm... how about Russia? That should be interesting." Jungkook tried to look past the utter disrespect he was getting from the older. He didn't care if Taehyung was technically his hyung, Jungkook felt like he should be respected by his peers.

"That sounds fine." Taehyung barely looked at Jungkook.

Jungkook took a deep breath before gritting his teeth. "I refuse to do all of the work on this, Taehyung. You're going to fucking help me."

"Calm the fuck down, Jungkook. I'm going to help with the project, don't get your panties in a wad."

Jungkook couldn't hold in his frustration anymore. "What did you just say to me?"

"N-Nothing," Taehyung mumbled. Jungkook smiled to himself. He loved watching Taehyung become so weak and powerless under him.

The two pulled out their laptops to begin their research, barely speaking as they compiled the information.

"Okay class! That's it for today! Make sure to meet up with your partners to work on your projects!" Ms. Yoon leaned back in her chair after the bell rang.

Taehyung started to gather his books before turning to Jungkook. "Why don't I give you my number so we can work on the project?" He still had his head down.

Jungkook nodded and he typed the number into his phone. "I'll text you tonight then."

"Whatever," Taehyung walked off, putting the hood back on his head. Jungkook sighed. He couldn't help but wonder what happened to the older's face and neck. And why had he obviously been crying?

Wow. That was a really crappy chapter, I feel like. And I went with the whole clichè storyline because I am not creative in the slightest.
