TAEHYUNG POV

Taehyung threw open the front door and slammed it closed. Tears threatened to fall from his eyes. His heart hurt. He felt betrayed. What made him think Jungkook would actually care for him? This just had to be some sick new way Jungkook thought of to hurt Taehyung.

It worked.

Taehyung closed the door to his bedroom and locked it, throwing his stuff on his bed. He paced the length of his small room, back and forth, back and forth. He was waiting for the pain to go away. The pain of feeling completely alone and unwanted in the world.

It didn't.

Before he could stop himself, he wandered into his bathroom and took out a fresh razor blade from his cabinet. He rubbed his fingers on the blade, enjoying the cold on his fingertips. Taehyung didn't want to die. He only wanted the physical pain to cover the emotional pain he felt. He pressed the tip into his skin, watching as the blood started to pour out. He didn't wince at the pain. This pain wasn't as bad as the one he felt inside.

Taehyung raised his head slightly, looking at himself in the mirror. God, I'm fucking hideous, he thought. (A/N: no you're not baby). His hair was a mess from him grabbing it out of frustration while pacing his room. He had dark bags under his eyes from lack of sleep.

He was about to make another mark on his arm with the blade when his phone rang. He groaned, checking to see who it was, having to squint through the blurriness from the tears.

Park Jimin is calling...

"Jimin? Why is Jimin calling me?" He put the blade down and picked up the phone. He sat down on the floor, feeling a little weak. "Hello?" He tried to make his voice sound as stable as possible.

"Hello Taehyung! Namjoon is having a little get-together at the cafè Jin works at Friday night! I thought you might want to come. There will be food, music. Maybe a movie or something? Anyway, it's at 7 PM. I would love to have you there."

"I-I'll think about it, hyung. Thanks for the invite!"

"See you at school tomorrow! Bye!" Taehyung heard the phone call end, before taking a deep breath. He stood up, a little shakily, and grabbed a bandage from the cabinet, wrapping up his arm. He silently thanked Jimin. Who knew how far he would've gone if Jimin hadn't called?

(Friday)

It had been a few days since Taehyung's incident. He still hadn't said a word to Jungkook, and Jungkook didn't try to talk to Taehyung. Taehyung still felt hurt. He felt betrayed. But more importantly, he felt dirty. He kissed Jungkook back. Jungkook probably got it on video and will use it to try and convince people to avoid Taehyung because he's trying to seduce everyone.

Taehyung rolled his eyes at the thought and walked into his history class and sat down. He noticed Jungkook was already there, but the two avoided eye contact.

Every day this week Taehyung wore long sleeves to hide the cuts he made on his arm, despite the fact that it was unusually warm for this time of the school year. Today, he wore a hoodie over his short sleeve striped t-shirt.

A stupid mistake.

A girl in his class was walking past his desk when she tripped, spilling her coffee on Taehyung's hoodie.

"Ah, fuck!" He jumped up. He could feel the warm coffee burning into his skin.

"Holy crap! I'm so sorry! It was an accident." The girl looked apologetic.
