Sitting in the corner with my head between my knees.
Crying my eyes out while inside my heart bleeds.
I pushed, you stayed.
I pushed, you stayed. It drained, my energy.
Everything, fell apart, but, you stayed.
I pushed, thinking you'd leave, but hoping you'd stay.
I pushed you, into her arms without any realisation.
In my imagination, you were still mine.
Everything was fine.
Days passed with no words.
It hurt, bad.
Then reality hit,
It hit. Hard.
You were gone.
Now she is fond, of what was mine.
Everything was fine.
Now weeks pass with no word.
In the silence, I hear birds, chirping.
As my heart is hurting.
You're gone.
