Back in Mushroom Kingdom Dimension...
"Ah, Weegee, this-a is the life!" Mario said, raising his soda to the Super Mario sunshine. He laid on a beach chair, with swimming trunks on, and sunglasses. Luigi was pretty much the same next to him. Toads were splashing in the castle's pool along with Peach and Daisy and Yoshi, who definitely had a story coming to them. Jonathan received lots of affection. When they returned, they had instantly decided to take a break by relaxing in the pool, and get to the party planning later.
Suddenly, E.Gadd entered the scene and said, "That crew is in trouble! We have to save them!"
"How do you know?" asked Peach, coming out of the pool. "I installed a security camera in their ship when they weren't looking," E.Gadd replied. He grabbed Mario and Luigi's arms and pulled them into the castle, still in their swimming trunks, to where their portal still sat. He shoved them inside, but didn't go in himself. "They'll know what to do," he said reassuringly to himself.

In Star Wars Rebels Dimension...
The Inquisitor had the crew pinned. He was laughing crazily, mostly because he was pleased with his success. He was just about to deliver the final blow, the deadly strike, when a shimmering, sword-shaped red blade deflected it. The Inquisitor looked up to see Mario and Luigi, dripping in bathing suits, beam swords in hand, standing there. Luigi had a death stare on his face. "You came back!" Ezra screamed, but Kanan covered his mouth, because this wasn't exactly an epic scene from a movie. "Why do you have red lightsabers?" asked the Inquisitor, ruining the moment. Mario looked at his beam sword, a little ashamed. "They only-a come in red," he said. "Oh," the Inquisitor replied. Then he charged at Luigi, who expertly deflected the blow. Now it was the Mario Bros. versus the Inquisitor, slashing and fighting. And, having their jumping abilities, they could backflip and jump high and whatnot! While they were fighting, Kanan and Ezra retrieved their lightsabers and joined the fight. They pushed the Inquisitor back towards the open ramp. Kanan felt awesome. Ezra felt manly. Mario felt epic. And Luigi felt #1. At last, the Inquisitor was right at the edge of the ramp, deflecting their blasts as best he could. Finally, Ezra yelled, "Bon voyage!" and kicked the Inquisitor in the gut, sending him flying down to Lothal below. "Hopefully, we'll never see him again," Kanan said. Then he closed the ramp and turned to Mario and Luigi. Hera and Sabine walked up too. "Thanks for the save," Kanan said. "We owe our lives to you!" Sabine said. "Thanks," Ezra said. "I'd give you a medal, but I don't have any," Hera said. Mario and Luigi looked at each other, feeling happy. Right at that moment, E.Gadd's machine spawned a portal. "I guess this is-a goodbye," Luigi said. Mario gave them a salute and turned. "Arrivederci!" He jumped into the portal, followed by his brother Luigi. And then everything was quiet.
The crew stood for a moment. Kanan put his hand on Ezra's shoulder and said, "You did well, Padawan."
After another moment, Ezra said, "Did anyone have any idea what they were wearing?"
Hera just smiled. She had a good feeling about this - that somehow, they would see those plumbers again.
