Morning hit Hera's eyes. In other words, a big sun beam passed over her face and woke her up. She looked at Kanan, who also had the sun streaked across his face, and he was squintily staring at it. She heard muffled mumbling noises and looked behind her to see Toads crawling all over the floor silently, save for their mouths. "Hm," Hera said. Kanan got out of his seat and walked across the Toads. He opened the door and walked out into the common room. Ezra was walking in circles, yawning every two seconds. "Ezra, what's your problem?" Kanan asked. "I can't stop yaaaaaaawning," Ezra yawned. "Oh. I see," Kanan replied. Hera walked into the room. "What is going on in here?" she asked. "Nothing, really," Kanan replied.
"Oh, that reminds me," Hera said, looking at Ezra. "What were you and Zeb thinking giving the Toads wine last night?"
Ezra widened his eyes and said, "The Toads got it out. Really."
Hera raised an eyebrow, but before she could yell at him Kanan said, "Why you little-!" and lunged at his padawan.
E.Gadd suddenly came in holding a weird computery gadget. He had been working with his gadgets in the cargo hold for a few days, staying quite out of the way while he searched for a solution. "I think it's about time we went home, -" he said, interrupting.
"Really? You've found a way?" asked Hera excitedly.
"Well – sort of," he said. "I'm working on a machine that should do the trick, but I'm missing an important...ingredient. I need you all to find a rare crystal only found in the deep subterrainial marshes of the planet Nyystarch!" he said. Everyone looked at him weirdly. "I think you just made up two words," Kanan said, who had stopped mid-choke on Ezra (that's supposed to be a reference of Homer choking Bart a lot). "Well, at least he's offering these people a chance to actually go home," Sabine said, walking in. "Just get the crystal," E.Gadd replied. "Woah, woah, woah, woah. "Nyystarch" is not a planet!" Kanan interrupted. E.Gadd tapped at his gadget. "Sorry. Mus-ta-far," he squinted at the screen.
"Mustafar doesn't have any marshes," Kanan said, his eyes narrowed.
"What-ever," E.Gadd said. "Just find a cave and search in it," he added. "I'm sure the entire planet of Mustafar has more than one cave," Kanan said, his eyes narrowed so much that they looked closed. Hera put a hand on his armored shoulder, and his eyes opened. "Huh, that actually worked!" Hera said as she sat back down. "Oh yeah, Kanan, why don't we just go get his crystal? Then, everyone can leave, and maybe we can go to sleep again. Okay?" she added. "Okay," Kanan said, in a bit of a mopey tone. "I'll go set course for Mustafar," Hera said in a way that indicated she was tired of saying "set course." She went to the cockpit, turned off the holonet, which had been on, and pressed a random button, which blasted them into hyperspace, and the navi-computer predicted they wanted to go to Mustafar so it programmed itself to go there. Hera got a drink and went back to the common room. "It's too noisy in here," she decided and yanked Kanan into the cockpit. "Why did you yank me?" asked Kanan. "Because you're probably the most decent person on the whooole ship," Hera replied.

The Inquisitor sat up in his sleep suddenly. "We need to go," he said. King Boo floated over to him. "Finally! Where are we going?"
The Inquisitor smiled evilly. "Mustafar."
"What's that?" asked King Boo.
"Mustafar is an awesome lava planet that has crystals with special properties," he explained impatiently. "The rebels are headed there. I saw it."
"Really? Why would they be going there?"
The Inquisitor frowned. "I have a few ideas."

The Ghost emerged from hyperspace in front of Mustafar. "Hey, there's no chance I'll lose you, right?" Hera asked. "Uh, no, I don't think so," Kanan replied, a little uncertain. "Okay!" Hera said and blasted them toward the planet, flying low while Kanan decided where they should land. Eventually when it seemed the crystal was near, Hera descended, landing them on a rock near a sign that said, "Visit Mustafar, It's a Dry Heat."
The ramp opened and twenty Toads poured out. "We're only taking twenty Toads?" Kanan asked Hera. "I guess," Hera said. "I just figured that if we had a bunch of Toads, and most of us were killed or hurt, any remaining Toads could pilot out the Ghost and get help, although I don't know who they'd go to," Kanan replied.
"This place reminds a-me of Bowser's castle," Mario said as he and Luigi came down the ramp onto the planet's surface. E. Gadd came after them holding his gadget. He looked ridiculous on the lava planet. He walked over to Kanan and showed him the screen. "This is the crystal we're looking for," he said. "It has...unusual properties." Kanan looked at it suspiciously, but his thoughts were interrupted by a voice. "Look!" Yellow Toad's voice echoed. He pointed to an Imperial shuttle parked on a separate rock about two centimeters apart from theirs. "I don't like the looks of that," Kanan said. "Probably the Inquisitor. He seems to be a step ahead of us." He shoved the whole entire shuttle into the lava with the Force. "That takes care of that particular problem," Kanan said, brushing his hands together. At this spectacle the Toads all stared with huge eyes at Kanan. Then they erupted. "KANAN'S MAGIC!!"
"Come on, let's go look for the cave!" Hera called to everybody and they set out walking along the rocky path, constantly being interrupted in their chatting by huge lava geysers. "We're all gonna be bathing in sweat by the time we get through with this one," said a random Toad.
They had been walking for a while, until suddenly, Kanan just stopped. "Is somepin' wrong?" Blue Toad asked. "I..." Kanan replied. "HEY!" Ezra said, also kind of still. "The crystal is near! It's making my posterior vibrate." Everyone looked at him extremely weirdly. Even Kanan broke out of his trance and stared at Ezra like he was insane. "I do not think the Force told him that," Kanan said. "OOHHHH, so you mean the Force is strong in the crystal?" Hera asked. "Uh, yeah, I think so," Kanan said and put his arm around her. "Hey, I hope you don't mind," Hera said, "but that's your armored arm and it's kinda uncomfy."
"Oh," Kanan replied and switched himself around. They kept moving, Kanan and Ezra in front, letting the Force guide them. After a while, "Look, look, look!" Ezra yipped, his voice rising. He pointed to a hole in the ground that slanted as it went down. "You call that a cave? More like a hole," Kanan said, looking at Hera. But the Force emanated strongly from the hole. "Let's go," Hera said, lifting Kanan's arm off her shoulders and then stepping into the hole. At first, she kind of had to slide, but eventually, everything evened out into a cave. The twenty Toads, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Sabine, Ezra, Zeb, Chopper, and Kanan came catapulting down. Well, pretty much everybody landed in a heap, except Kanan, who jumped on top of them all. Hera was looking around at the bumpy, rock walls. Kanan walked up to her while everybody else untangled their limbs. "Where do you think the crystal will be?"asked Kanan. "Hopefully, somewhere obvious," replied Hera. The cave was pulsing with strange energy.
The large group rounded a bend, and noticed a red light glowing from around another corner. "Come on, the crystal must be right over there," Hera said, but Kanan stopped her with his arm. "Hooold on a sec. Look, at, that," he said, pointing to the wall, where a perfect shadow-play was being put on. A humanoid figure was standing there, holding what looked like a lightsaber. A big, round shape was in front of it, lifting very slowly a block of something that emitted an orangey-glow. "That's the Inquisitor and the ghost," Kanan said. "Hey, the Ghost can't be here," Hera said, talking low. "I meant the spirit-type ghost," Kanan said, playfully whacking her in the head. "Well, anyhoo-" he was interrupted by E.Gadd. "You just stole my line," he whispered from somewhere behind him. "Okay, then," Kanan said, a bit weirded out. "Well, anyway, you guys stay here. I'll surprise the Inquisitor."
He turned on his lightsaber and broke the red light with blue. Ezra walked up to him. "I have a lightsaber, too!" he said and turned his on. "Be careful," Kanan cautioned him. Then the Jedi ran out in front of the Inquisitor, who whipped around. "Long time no see," he said. He didn't need to ignite his lightsaber because it was already ignited, so an epic battle scene was ruined. "We saw each other very recently ago, so I guess you don't know what that means," Kanan said. The Inquisitor screeched and charged at Kanan. Kanan was about to deflect his blast when twenty Toads rounded the bend and knocked the Inquisitor to the ground. Then all the Toads started jumping up and down on top of him. King Boo turned around clutching the orange crystal to his chest like everybody was attempting to take it from him. He looked at the Inquisitor, flailing his arms around as the Toads jumped on him. One said, "Too bad he doesn't have any hair, or I'd pull it!" King Boo covered his mouth to avoid laughing, and when he did he accidentally dropped the crystal. It went bouncing across the floor and landed at E.Gadd's feet. "Well, whaddya know!" E.Gadd said and bent down to pick it up. But suddenly, hundreds of Boos appeared on the spot and surrounded E.Gadd, who raised his arms in a gesture of surrender.
"We're not losing anybody," Kanan said and jumped up and slashed at the roof with his lightsaber. The cave started to collapse. King Boo zapped the downfall of rocks to try to disintrigate them, but he only made matters worse. All the good people tried to get away, but the roof collapsed and separated everybody into three groups. The Inquisitor, King Boo, and all the Boos, and one single Toad were in one group. Kanan, Mario, Luigi, Zeb, Chopper, and 14 of the Toads were grouped together. Hera, Sabine, Peach, Ezra, E.Gadd, and the remaining 5 Toads were in the last group.
