Friday morning: 8:00 AM
Mr. and Mrs. Anderson are standing at the front door with their bags at their feet. "So, you're basically all set since you know his bed time, what he likes to eat, and so on. Umm there's $200 on the kitchen table if you need anything from the store or so on. Erm... If you need anything you now our numbers..." Mrs. Anderson spoke nervously. It was obvious she did not want to leave her boy behind for this long.
"Linda," Tiffany said as she set her hand on the worried mother's shoulder, "I swear I will not let anything happen to him. Everything and everyone will be just how you left it when you come back okay? There's nothing to worry about."
"She's right Linda, you know we can trust Tiffany. We can't stall any longer or we'll be late." Mr. Anderson assured his wife.
"Alright," Mrs. Anderson said as she hugged Tiffany, "Thank you." The mother crouched to her son's height and he ran into her arms. "I love you mama. Travel safe," The boy said with small tears in his eyes. "I love you too baby," His mother replied as a tear ran down her face. The boy then ran to his father for another goodbye. Mr. Anderson picked up Sander in an embrace, "Now you stay the man of the house you got it? You and this house need to be in one piece when we get back." "Yes Papa," The boy nodded into his father's coat, "I love you."
"I love you too," Mr. Anderson said as he set down the boy, "Alright honey, let's get going. We'll see you two in a few days!" Mr. and Mrs. Anderson started walking out the door and to their cab.
"Goodbye Baby! Be good!" Mrs. Anderson said as she walked away. Tiffany picked up Sander and walked to the edge of the door. "Bye Mama! Bye Papa!" Sander yelled as he frantically waved. "See ya later guys!" Tiffany yelled while waving.
Soon the cab was gone, and it was just the two of them. Tiffany closed the door and wiped off Sander's cheeks. "It's okay buddy. They'll be back before you know it." She said as she put him back on his feet. He sniffed, "I know, I wasn't crying. I just had stuff in my eyes." Tiffany smirked and giggled, "Suuure you did. And you weren't crying like a little baby." She stuck her tongue out at him.
He clenched his small fist, "Take that back!" He yelled. She put one hand on her hip and the other near her mouth. She tapped her finger against her mouth twice, "Mmmmmmm, no. I don't think I will." Sander stood there looking angry at the babysitter. "Maybe I will if youuuuuu CATCH ME!" Tiffany yelled as she ran the opposite direction.
Sander was surprised for a moment but soon ran after her yelling, "Ima get ya!" His anger immediately turned into laughter as he chased Tiffany. She ran around the couch with Sander closely on her tail. Beginning to run a bit faster, she ran into the dining area where she ran around the table a few times to tire him out, but instead tired herself out. He giggled as he caught up to her. Tiffany jumped over the table and ran to the living room again where she tripped on Sander's toy firetruck.
"AHA!" he yelled as he got on top of her and poked her face with his little fingers.
"Okay! Okay! Stop! I give up! I take it back you aren't a baby!" Tiffany laughed out. Sander, still on top of her was laughing as well until they were interrupted by the sound of Tiffany's cellphone ringing.
