1:00PM
Tiffany is sat in the study of the house working on a paper that she says is very important, so Sander is in the living room playing with his race cars.
Riiiinnnnng. Riiiiiiiinnnnng.
The home phone starts to ring. Tiffany picks up the phone in the study after two rings. Sander quietly goes down the hallway and stops just before the doorway of the study. The door is open and Sander can hear Tiffany on the phone.
"They left me in charge of the house...... Yeah, that's me....... Oh, they did? Why didn't they tell me?...... Do I need to drop him off?....... Oh okay, well what about being picked up?........ Alright sweet......Well see you soon then...... uh huh...... okay, buh bye."
Sander once again panics and sprints back to the living room. He lies back onto the rug he was on and makes it look like he was playing with his cars the whole time. Tiffany walks into the living room with her arms crossed and leans against the wall. "You didn't tell me you had a play date with Toby today," She says while raising an eyebrow at Sander.
Sander looks at her confused for a second and then shot up. "That's right! I do! I guess I forgot. We are gonna make a big track for my cars in his backyard!"
"Well, his mom is on her way, so you better get your things," Tiffany smirked.
Sander just gasped and sprinted up to his room while Tiffany giggled at his excitement. Up in his room he gathered all his favorite cars and Toby's favorites too. Toby's family was upper middle class but still wasn't as wealthy as the Anderson's, so Sander tended to have fancier toys than his friends. He was aware of this as well, but he was raised to be generous, so he shares his toys. Sander puts all the cars into his T-Rex backpack and packs the bag with the hidden candy Sander has in his room. He zips the bag up and runs back downstairs where Tiffany is looking out the window.
"Are they here yet?" Sander asks hopefully.
"Not quite yet," Tiffany says turning to him.
Sander frowns while looking at her. He drops his backpack on the floor and runs straight for Tiffany with his arms wide. He wraps his arms around her waist tightly and starts to quietly sob into her legs. Tiffany looks down at him surprised and confused. "What's wrong Sunshine?" she asks concerned.
"I feel b-bad b-b-because I was supposed to be s-spending time with you a-and n-now I'm just leaving y-y-you." He cries looking up at her. She looks down at him and gives him one of her warm smiles he loves.
"Don't worry, this was already planned. So, I intruded on YOUR plans. Not to mention I have something very special planned for tomorrow. We'll be spending a lot of time together." She reassured him.
"Wh-what do you ha- "Sander was cut off by the sound of the doorbell ringing.
"I just want you to have fun tonight okay?" She smiled, and he nodded.
"Good! Now wipe your eyes, you wouldn't want Toby to see you like that would you?" Tiffany said while walking toward the door.
Sander sniffled and wiped his eyes while she opened the door.
