7:25PM
"Vrooooommm" "Wooooshhhh" "Brrrrrrrr" The two boys in the backseat of the van were playing with their cars and making sound effects. They drove their race cars anywhere they could reach from their seats around the van. Stephanie says to them a bit worn out from the day, "You guys never get tired of those things, do you?"
The boys just giggled in response and Stephanie smiles at them but returns her vision to the road.
"Did you tell Tiffany I'm coming home?" Sander yelled from the backseat.
"I called her before we left," Stephanie replied and frowned. "Sander may I ask you about Tiffany?"
"What do you want to know?" Sander asked tilting his head to the side.
Stephanie swallowed and asked hesitantly, "Do you like her?"
Sander smiles, "I love her!"
"She doesn't hurt you right? Or pick on you? Or bring people over?" Stephanie slowly asked concerned.
"No, she's great!" Sander slightly snapped at her and crossed his arms. The van was now on Sander's street and Stephanie was driving a bit slower. They passed by a black car with many dents and scratches in it, something unusual to see in his neighborhood. Everyone ignored the car due to the tense conversation between Sander and his friend's mom.
"I'm just saying Sander." She pulls into Sander's driveway, "I don't have a good feeling, if you need a new baby sitter I ca- "She was cut off by Sander yelling, "NO! I DON'T WANT A NEW BABYSITTER! I LIKE TIFFANY!" Sander quickly exited the van and slammed the door behind him. He started running to the front door with tears in the corners of his eyes and his face red with anger. Sander tries the door handle, but it's locked so he knocks three loud knocks.
One.
Two.
Three.
Tiffany came to the door, hair a bit wavier than earlier, showing she hasn't brushed her hair since this morning. She had taken the hoodie off which now revealed a black tank top. "Welcome home!" Tiffany politely greeted Sander into the house. Sander just repeated his action from earlier that day and ran into Tiffany, hugging her. "I missed you" Sander slightly sobbed.
"Aww, I've missed you too." She responded and hugging him in return. Tiffany slightly picked him up and swung him around, so he was fully inside the house and set him down. She then closed the front door where the sound of a door closing echoed elsewhere in the house. Sander gasped and looked in the direction of the noise. In the same direction the sound of footsteps was heard coming toward them. Sander ran behind Tiffany in fear. "Tiffany! I heard something! Or someone!" Sander panicked gripping the back of Tiffany's tank top.
"Yeah, you're right. But don't worry its just Damien." Tiffany calmly said to the boy cowering behind her.
A man that looked in his 20's stepped into the room while saying, "Nice job Moon, you didn't need anyone's hel- "He cut himself off when he noticed the child standing behind Tiffany.
"Oh, hush shush! One time and everyone freaks out." Tiffany rolled her eyes.
"Twice," Damien smirked and crouched peering around Tiffany's legs. "You must be Sander. Hey buddy no need to be scared." Damien was a tall man with black messy hair. He had a neck tattoo that Sander couldn't quite make out, but it was some sort of word in other language. He was wearing black pants and some band's shirt. Also, just like Tiffany he was wearing black converse.
