When we got to the airport my heart started beating fast. Even though the AC was on all the way, I was sweating my guts off.

Why am I so scared to see Carter? I mean damn, I've lived with him most of my life. And he's been gone for not even 2 years.

"It's ok Taylor" Zach said placing his hand on my shoulder.

"Huh?" I acted like nothing's wrong.

"We can all tell your freaking out". Jonah turned the car off.

"I'm sorry guys" I frowned

"You'll be fine Tay" Jack smiled.

We got out of the car and went inside the airport.

I texted Carter and he said he said we should meet my the airports Chipotle.

Me and the boys paced through the halls.

Daniel held my right hand and Jack held my left.

I squeezed on to them tight once we were inches away from the Chipotle.

I then saw him right there. Struggling with his suitcases and all these cables.

It felt like my heart had just jumped out of my chest.

"Carter......" I whispered.

I let go of Daniel and Jack's hand and ran over to Carter.

"CARTER!" I jumped on top of him as he carried me.

"Tay Tay?" He hugged me hard.

"Yes" I cried into his shoulder.

The boys sorta awkwardly approached and just stood there.

I got off him and I could see a tear or two roll down his eyes.

"Your makeup is all smudged up now!" He laughed at me making me giggle.

The boys got close behind me and Jack wrapped his arms around my waist.

I turned my head back and he smiled down at me. I couldn't help but smile back.

"Ummmm" Carter awkwardly stared at the boys and Jack's hands.

"Oh right! Carter, these are my best friends." I said

"Oh, hi I'm Carter" my brother stuck his hand out for one of the boys to shake and jack did.

"I'm Jack. And that's Jonah, Zach and Daniel" he pointed at each one of them.

"Don't you have any girl best friends?" Carter asked

"Yeah, but I don't love them as much as I love these guys!" I pinched Zach's cheek and he just hugged me in return.

"Ohhh I'm telling Jesse and Stella!!" Jonah said making us laugh except Carter.

"Well let's get going!" Jack said taking one of Carters bags.

"Thanks man" Carter seemed less stressed.

"It's cool dude" Jack replied.

-TIME SKIP-

We arrived home.

"Yo you guys changed the house a bit" Carter looked around.

"Just a little bit" I awkwardly laughed.

"Imma go check out my room" Carter ran up the stairs.

I sat down on the couch with the boys.

I was ok but then there was this type of pain in my heart. I unexpectedly started crying.

"Taylor?" Zach looked up from his phone.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Jack rubbed my back.

"Guys I can't be happy at these moments no matter how hard I try. My moms dead and I don't even know where my sister is" I chocked out.

"Taylor we know it's hard but believe me, you gotta stay strong" Jonah said.

"It's easy for you to say because your moms not dead!" I cried harder.

"Taylor.............. my dad abandoned my mom and I when I was born. All because he didn't want me. I have to live with that everyday of my life. Knowing that my dad never loved me and doesn't want to see me. Your mom........ she died knowing how much she loves you, Emma and Carter. She loves you guys. And I know that if she were here, she'd want you to move on" Jack said.

"I'm so sorry....... I never meant to act this way" I wiped my tears feeling guilty.

"It's ok Tay" Jack pat my back.

I smiled and Daniel grabbed my hand holding on tight. I smiled even wider.

Carter came back.

"Sooo, ummmm. When is Emma coming?" Carter mentioned.

"Oh right, she'll be coming later tonight" I almost forgot.

"Well cool!" Carter said

"Man, I miss Emma" Zach said.

"Me too" I sighed.
