Bridgette wakes up with pip nuzzled in her hair. She doesn't feel like getting up and just stares at the ceiling. "... Ithilaine's crazy. Isn't he pip?"
After a while she sighs and gets up, deciding to make more cookies. She goes to the kitchen and begins baking, but Nixxiom walks in with worried eyes, rushing past her quickly. She is curious, but knows better than to ask him imediently. If she does, he will never tell the truth. So she continues baking.Alek finalized preparations and had Darwin take care of the minor things, the kind he used to do for Darwin. He accepts and Alek changes and takes the chalk from his pocket and opens a portal, stepping through, his cloak flowing just behind him.
Bridgette finishes her cookies and leaves them on the table to cool, washing her hands and cleaning up.
Alek reaches the base of their home and paused for a moment. He looks up. "DEAR ASHTREES! IVE COME TO SPEAK WITH YOU!"
Bridgette jolts and groans, but feels her heart grow light. She goes to the door and looks out, then down. "Be gone vampire!"
"Actually, the reason I'm here would likely be closer to a werewolf." He smiles happily. "May I come up?"
"No! Cause that made no sense! Are you referring to they ridiculous beard you are growing?" She blushes at the thought of it and prays he can't see it.
He laughs. "Unfortunately, I am no werewolf. I've come to speak to you about the eclipse tomorrow in Alcor."
"Oh, you know about it?" Her ears flatten and she pouts "Oh. Well I already know about it too! So you don't need to speak about it!"
"Alcor!" He grins. "We have a tradition to hold a festival during the day of the eclipse!"
She leaves for a moment then comes back and dumps the tray of cookies on his head from high up. "Good for you! Propose to your wife there!"
He catches one in his mouth. He takes it out and holds it in his hand. "Thank you, but proposing is probably difficult if the girl is not there," He takes a bite of the cookie. "I'd like for you to join me."
She pouts and glares "Hmph. Why should I? And I messed up those cookies!"
He looks at her and takes another bite. "I liked them."
She growls but blushes a bit. She pouts "Well that's silly. And I'm telling you to FIND a wife to propose to at the festival!"
"I am looking at her." He continues to stare as he eats the cookie.
"No no no!" Her heart skips a beat "You have to find another! Not me, and not Monarch."
"The last time I tried to find another, I only fell deeper in love with you my dearest." He frowns seeing his hand was empty. "Do you have more of those cookies? That aren't in the floor of a forest?"
"No! All gone! That's all of them!" She pauses. She blushes and shrinks back "... do you want more...?"
"Yes I would." He smiles. "If you let me come inside, I can help you make some, or just keep you company as you work."
She glares "... fine. You can come up." She goes back to the kitchen and grabs out the ingredients again.
He chuckles lightly, excited for cookies. He begins climbing the ladder. When he reaches the top, he steps inside and politely takes off his cloak.
She begins baking and smiles a bit to herself as she does.
He leans on his elbows, watching at the counter. He smiles with excitement and joy as he sees her cooking.
