"Well.... the problem is..." She lets go of him and steps back "He said it would take us to Melophiles castle... which wouldn't exactly be prefered..."

Alek put his thumb up to his lips, thinking. "Yes, I suppose that would be the last idea we should use... we should have a plan first after all..."

"And we hardly know where to start..." She begins walking back to Percys house.

Alek walks with her. "Hm... sadly, no, we don't..." Alek rubs his neck lightly. "The I don't think that we could... get rid of him like your father, and if he comes back, I would have already died and that would leave you to manage alone... so... trapping him... like Fenrir..."

"How could we trap HIM? We have no power in the underworld and no power whatsoever. There is nothing we can do about it." She sighs and walks into the home. Percy is gone and death is poking the food with a smile.

Alek smiles lightly seeing death but continues speaking with Bridgette. "Well what about the seven sins? Surely there is someone with more power, or some in the least."

"The sins won't help us... Would they?" She turns to Death and he just shrugs, still looking at the food. "Even so, how would we find them?"

"The same way I met them the first time." Alek moves over to Death, looking at the food, curious as to why Death was so entertained by it. "And by trapping Melophiles, they can be free from their torture..."

"No can do buddy." Death says, still playing with it "I can't send you without Maxims permission. We'd need him to agree with us." He bites his tongue to stop more words.

Alek straightens. "Oh my heavens... we could get him to! Death you're brilliant!" Alek laughs.

Death stands up "Well friend, there is one problem. If you don't do well convincing him, he'll turn you in." Bridgette's ears lower "We can still try... right?"
Death goes silent.

"What if I go alone? Bridgette can stay here, you could make sure she is safe." Alek paces slightly, trying to think of every possibility. "Of course... we now have Percy and... him to worry about, which makes me anxious to leave..."

"And Maxim isn't too fond of you either Alek," Death claims, giving him a look.

Alek holds up a finger, a small smirk on his face, his confidence getting to him. "Me, no. Nixxiom... yes."

"Whats your point?" Bridgette looks at him, threatening him to use her father as bait.

"Well, I'm sure that when Maxim finds out about Nixxxiom being in danger, he might fancy the idea of being a hero in a way." Alek continues pacing. "The idea of being forgiven and chosen is a powerful thing, even if it never comes to that. If he wants that enough, he would be willing to... break a few rules to help his idea of good."

Death smiles "That sounds... actually brilliant. Maxim would be selfish enough to do that." Bridgette looks worried "So... we have to convince him?"

"Not you. I'm not going to put you in a situation like that." Alek stops pacing and turns to face them. "In addition, I don't believe he enjoys your company, no matter how unbelievable it sounds."

She glares "You're not going alone. And he hates you too you know. Besides, I can reach him better than you. At least he knows me. When will you start having faith in me?" Death puts a hand to his mouth and looks at Alek "Ohhhhhh! Snap!"

Alek shakes his head and sighs. "Bridgette, keeping you away is the best option. If Maxim chooses to reject us, you will be sent to Melophiles and who knows what would happen then."

"Either way I'll be sent there! You leave me alone, I'm caught, done. You take me, I still have a chance with staying with you. What do you plan on doing? Leaving me here unsupervised while you try and take on the Dark Lord and save my family? Yeah, that will really help." She folds her arms "I'm the best chance you have getting through this place. If you don't want me caught, you're taking me with you."

Alek bites his cheek. "Fine." He says, although he hesitates slightly.

"I know Maxim better than you, and I know my family better than you. They are my responsibility, not yours. And I'm not just going to sit here while you go and face Maxim, not knowing what the hell You are doing." She looks away "Sometimes you're TOO prideful..."
Death just watches sitting on a chair and twiddling his fingers awkwardly.

"I am not too prideful." He chuckles, running his hand through his hair. "I'm your knight, there is no room for doubt."

"My love you are too prideful." She looks at him "You hardly believe I can do anything for myself, and insist on keeping me safe, even when you probably wouldn't get anywhere without me. And I'm not being prideful either, because I wouldn't do this without you. I know very well I would be no where without you. So check your facts." She smirks.

Alek approaches her, placing his finger under her chin with a smile. "It's the fact you can do things without me that scares me, my love."

Her eyes lower and she looks at him, still smiling a bit. "Mmm... You shouldn't be scared of me you charming man. It makes me feel as if you have no faith in me." She glances at his lips for a moment before looking back at his eyes.

He chuckles and kisses her quickly before, pocketing his hands and shrugging his shoulders. "My dear, it's my job to worry when I don't need to."

"I thought your job was teasing me and getting your way." She grins and takes a step closer.

"Hmm, sounds appealing but..." he looks to the side as if considering. "Nah, although..." he leans in, his lips hovering over her neck. "Teasing is fun..."

She blushes and shivers "Are you sure that's not your job?" She tries not to give in.

"No~" he whispers, chuckling lightly. His nose brushes against her neck.

She bites her lip and growls, grabbing his coat and pulling him closer. "You're a liar then~"

"Maybe you're just irresistible..." he kisses her neck repeatedly.

She lets out a sigh of delight and pulls him close. "D-death is watching." Death grins and twiddles his fingers in a wave.

"He always is." Alek pulls away, brushing her hair out of her face before moving to the table, turning a chair and sitting on it backwards. "We should leave tomorrow. Just after breakfast."

Death nods and chuckles. "Sounds good. I call the bed!" He runs and jumps on it. Bridgette giggles "No fair I want it!" She runs and jumps on top of him but he catches her and tickles her. She laughs.

Alek shoots death a glance of warning. "Watch it." He smiles, standing up and taking off his coat, laying it over the chair.

Death winks and chuckles, letting go of Bridgette. She dusts herself off and looks at death. "Do you even sleep?" He chuckles nervously and stands up "Heh uh... not really... but that's okay! I have to go back to work anyway before I'm caught."

Alek turns to death with a kind smile. "Treat yourself well. I assume we will see you tomorrow to head to Maxim."

"You're quite right about that pal. I'll be sure to come early in the morning. As for now, I bid you, farewell." He gives a dramatic bow and Bridgette giggles as he leaves.
