"Who's this pretty little thing?" A blond and sporty looking man eyed me up and down as we entered The Busy Bean with Bunny strutting in in-front of Jake and me.
"Don't mind him, Darling", Jacob chuckled quietly next to me, hand brushing against my lower back. Before I could give him a thankful smile, my eyes landed on the girl from yesterday, who had been hanging out from the passenger's side window with her middle finger raised at the car behind theirs.
Her eyes met mine from the brown leather couches they were sitting on at the side of the cafe, and she smiled. "Hey! You're the girl from yesterday, right?" She seemed like a very positive person, which I valued a lot.
"I guess I am", I returned her smile as Jake and I stepped up to the couches in the busy cafe. She was sitting next to a dark and short haired guy, with his hand on her thigh. Bunny sat down next to the blond and sporty looking man, who had been the first to speak to me as we'd arrived.
Jacob walked past me to greet the two guys, seeming extremely good friends with them, before he sat down on the remaining couch and his eyes found mine again. With a simple motion from him to come sit next to him, I found myself taking a few steps towards the third brown leather couch where I sat down as well.
"I seriously need an ibuprofen right now", Bunny spoke, digging around in her purse for one. "She's always hungover", the blond man grinned at me, ruffling Bunny's hair in the process. She immediately elbowed him, clearly not appreciating the gesture.
While the man recovered from Bunny's tough hit, Jacob gently nudged me to gain my attention. I glanced over at him, as he nodded over at the blond man, "that's Sean", he told me, comfortably leaning back against the couch with his leg bouncing up and down, "he's the captain of the football team".
My brows raised a little, as I studied Sean. He must be a big deal, since the football team here was competing very well in nationals, or so I'd heard. "That's cool", I nodded slowly, looking back at Jacob.
He gave me a smile, "and that's Becky. I'm guessing you saw all her basics yesterday", and added a chuckle. I let out a small laugh, agreeing, "definitely".
"Miles is Beck's boyfriend", he then nodded at the short and dark haired guy next to her, with his hand on her thigh. He looked to be very deep in thought, or maybe he was just a polar opposite of Becky.
We chatted a little, all five of us, and I got to know a little more about each of them. Despite the constant anxiety of the leaked nudes following me here, I managed to be myself with these people and found their company extremely enjoyable.
"I'll go order us food, what do you all want?" Becky stood up, straightening her colourful top.
"I'll have a salad", Bunny spoke, having put her sunglasses on to shield herself from the lighting. "I'll have one as well", I added with a small smile.
"Get me a soup, would you babe?" Miles' voice was pretty monotone, saying more than he had said the whole half an hour we had already been here.
Jacob requested a chicken sandwich, while Sean decided on two slices of carrot cake. Interesting choice for a well-built jock - no judgement though.
Becky went to order our lunches. "Do you want to come outside with me for a minute?" Jacob suddenly asked me, shifting in his seat impatiently. "Um, sure", I nodded, following his lead as he stood up and began walking towards the front doors of the cafe.
"Where exactly are we going?" I asked with slight amusement, as Jacob continued walking down the sidewalk outside.
He chuckled, glancing back at him while tucking his hands into the front pockets of his dark jeans. Jacob was also wearing a grey Rolling Stones t-shirt, under a black leather biker jacket.
