"Get some, bro!" One of Jacob's friends - whom I had yet to meet - yelled. Jacob didn't seem too fazed by it though, as he continued kissing me back.

He was a very good kisser, and I was so happy that this was happening. I could tell he was a little bit nervous, though, with his hands holding a firm grip on my waist.

I let my hands roam over his torso, knowing I would need to have a bucket of cold water poured over me before this went too far.

I guess Jacob was on the same page, as he soon pulled back abruptly to stare down at me with slightly wide eyes and his lower lip pulled in between his teeth.

"We need to stop", he told me, as I placed my hand on his chest and felt exactly how fast his heart was beating.

"Why?" I asked, brows furrowing slightly in need of a reason. I didn't want him to have stopped because he didn't like kissing me, or something.

"Y..you're drunk", he spoke quickly, frowning and glancing away. I let out a laugh, which made him look back at me with confusion written all over his gorgeous face.

"I'm not drunk", I tried to assure him, "I only had one drink". It was the truth. I might've felt a little woozy in the kitchen after I'd taken it, but right now I felt pretty much normal. The kiss had definitely sobered up the little alcohol I had in me.

"Wanna see something?" Suddenly, he sounded more excited.

"See what?" I asked, taking a small step away from this beautiful man. He took my hand in his and began guiding me through the crowd.

Jacob was definitely well liked here as well, and a few people did try to talk to him a little, but he was too excited to stop and talk back.

"Watch the step", he told me after stepping onto the small and empty balcony and turning around to watch me.

I followed his lead, and stepped out into the slightly chilly night. Maybe I was just feeling a bit cold due to my outfit choice...

Jacob gave me a warm smile as he closed the door behind us. "Look", he turned me to look down at the city.

I was definitely taken aback, not having expected Sean's and his roommate's apartment to be this high.

He let my hand go to pull out a packet of cigarettes. "You brought me out here just so you could smoke?" I asked him, just teasing, as I folded my arms over my chest.

Jacob chuckled a little, eyes finding mine again as he brought the cig up to his lips. He lit it up after tucking the box back into his pocket, "I wanted you to see the view", he explained, a small smirk tugging at the side of his lips.

To be fair, the view was pretty spectacular. You could just see houses and their lights; it was like stars.

"And I might have felt a little nervous", he admitted, hence the cigarette which he was smoking at the moment.

I raised my brows at him, tilting my head to the side a little, "whatever for?"

"I don't kiss a lot of people", he told me. Either he was lying or he was just naturally a very good kisser, with me leaning towards the latter option. "You're really beautiful, Isis. I feel like an idiot just staring at you".
