A/N: This is what John Dylan would look like!!!!!
It was seven o'clock sharp. I looked at Bishop, with his hand in mine. We walked through the doors of the bar and marveled by how many people showed up in the few hours that we were gone. I looked at the lit up neon sign. It was gorgeous. I was very nervous, though. We could be meeting Loren's killer tonight. The mere thought of that, scared the living shit out of me. I hated the fact that someone that I cared about, was killed by someone who I could possibly know.
"Come, Love-" Bishop said to me, "he's here."
I took a deep breath and followed Bishop throughout the bar, into a small room.
"So... I heard you were looking for me?" John said, cooly.
"Yeah," I replied, in the same way. I didn't want to show it, but I was scared. I knew him. He was Autumn's ex boyfriend. He spent a few weeks at our house while they were together. I couldn't help but think, "Is he the killer? Did my sister, my sweet sister, date a murderer?"
I was interrupted in my thoughts as Bishop said, "So, I heard you were fooling around with our friend Loren?"
"We hung around, but it wasn't ever anything serious. She... She was a feisty one. But I loved the fire in her eyes. You know?" John asked Bishop.
"I know what you mean by feisty, with a little fire in her eyes. That's this one," he said as he pointed to me, while grabbing my hand.
*Alone by Bazzi starts to play in the background*
"I love this song," John stated aloud.
"Us too," I said, while trying to calm down.
"You want to dance?" John asked me, although he saw my fingers entangled in Bishop's.
"I'll dance with him, but no one else. And, I don't even fucking know you! You were the last person seen with Loren alive!" I said, practically screaming at him.
"Calm down, Love. We don't know him, and that's exactly why you don't need to scream. Let's get into a less hostile environment to speak to him," Bishop said, trying to calm me down and reassure me at the same time.
"Let's take a walk to the park," I said, agreeing with him.
We left the bar, walking down to the park. We passed many streets, many lamps, and many cameras. I turned my audio recorder on in my pocket. That's a classic, interrogator move. Damn, I watch too many movies, I thought in my head. We walked right past a hotel, when John started to get sketchy. He started to fidget, like something serious had happened in that hotel. Bishop took notice, too.
"Hey man. Is everything okay? You're kinda freaking us the fuck out," Bishop said, practically taking the words out of my mouth.
"I, uh, need to get out of here. I'm sorry guys. One thing though, did they find Loren? Did they count all the wounds? Did they find the DNA?" With that, he ran off.
"Hey, come back! We need to talk more about this!!" I screamed after him.
"He's gone now, Love." Bishop said, sounding defeated.
I couldn't help but cry. I didn't know why, but I started crying. I buried my head in his chest, and just cried.
"I- I knew him," I mustered out through tears.
I turned off my audio recorder as Bishop wrapped me in a tight hug.
"Clover, It'll all be okay. Now we have this, so now we can d more from there. It'll get done, and he won't get away with whatever this is. I promise, Love!" Bishop said as he pulled me in a tight hug, then kissed my forehead.
"I won't let anything happen to you, Love. I promise you that," Bishop said, as he detangled himself from my arms.
We walked back to the bar, silently. People had already left by the time it was eight- thirty. Everything looked so majestic and so beautiful, it was hard to believe that this world wasn't the same anymore. Loren was gone, and little did I know, someone I cared about, was the one that killed her.
A/N: CLIFFHANGER!! Alex, you're probably going to hate me for this! I'm so sorry that I haven't updated in a month, just a lot has been happening. I will be updating more consistently. I promise! Much love!
