We all split up like we did before, except now we had two less people, which also meant we now had an odd amount of people to work with. I remember that John Dylan had given me his number whenever we first met. I pulled out my phone, and searched for his contact name. Having finally found his contact, I typed the following text:
"Hey John. It's Clover; I'm Autumn's sister. We need your help finding the person who killed both Jinx and Loren. You said that you would do anything to help us get justice for Loren. This is your chance to let us know-- to show us-- that we can trust you. Meet us at the bar in which we met. Clover. "
"What did you just do?" Autumn asked, as a devilish grin had then appeared across my face.
"You'll see," I responded cooly to her question.
We went to our cars, and went the ten minute drive to the bar. Just as I had hoped, John Dylan was waiting for us outside.
"John-" Autumn said, staring at her feet.
"Autumn...." John said, immediately looking down at his feet.
"Well this is awkward..." Bishop said, stepping out of the car.
I pulled Bishop close and kissed him while the others stood around the cars, giving each other awkward glances.
"Can we just go look for whoever did this to your group of people?" John Dylan said, reminding us of the task at hand. I nodded my head, and pulled Delilah and Bishop close to me.
We all walked into the crowded bar and were astonished.
"This place-" Delilah stopped.
"What's wrong, Delilah?" John asked.
"This place.. This is where my parents met..." Delilah said, choking tears back.
"What's wrong with that?" Alex asked, obviously confused.
"Alex, look... Delilah's parents abandoned her and Loren whenever they were little. Whenever a family-- that would eventually adopt Loren and Delilah-- came to the orphanage, one of them had said that there was a third sister, but she wasn't wanted. The family that took her and Loren did not take the third child. Nobody knows what happened to her," I said, trying to explain it for Delilah.
"Oh..." Alex said as she realized what just happened. "I'm so sorry Delilah..."
"It's okay," Delilah replied, shrugging it off. "Let's just venture on inside."
We did as Delilah said and the others were marveled at the beauty of the inside bar.
"Let's split up. It will be easier for us to cover more ground," I said.
"But splitting up is never a good idea, Clover!" Bishop semi-yelled.
"Then you go with Delilah," I said, "I'm going by myself and so is everyone else."
I heard a few huffs and a cuss word or two murmured as I walked away.
"Oh well." I thought, "I guess I'm the only one who wants to find who did this to Loren and Jinx."
I walked around the enormity of the bar a few times when I heard screams.
"CLOVER HELP ME!" I heard Delilah scream.
"I'M COMING!!!!" I screamed back, trying to find where she and Bishop went.
"DELI-" I screamed as I came upon her body.
"C-Clover..." She stated, trying to talk. "I've... I've been stabbed.."
I started to cry at the pool of blood that was beginning to form around her chest. "Don't leave me, Delilah. Please, please don't leave me..." Tears were streaming down my cheeks. I know I looked like a blubbering mess.
"I kn-" Delilah tried to speak.
"You know what, Delilah?" I said, choking back tears.
"I know who killed them..."
"Who?! Who killed them?!" I semi-screamed.
"Dazoray," She clearly stated.
"Wh-who's Dazoray?" I asked, puzzled.
"My sister. She has Bishop and Autumn. GO!" She screamed.
I nodded, and ran out of that door as fast as I could. I called the police and told the operator to get a police car and an ambulance out to my location as fast as possible, that my friend was stabbed. I ended the call, and got on an app that Alex and I had been working on. It's a tracker app called "Find My Friend." All you do is put in their number and it shows you their location. I did just that, and miraculously, it worked. I looked at my phone and saw exactly where they were; the old mine.
