After the funeral proceedings were over, I got a call from the police station.
"Hello again, Ms. Clover Lynn Armstrong," a booming voice said over the phone.
"Hello, I assume you want myself and all my friends to come down to the police station?" I asked, already knowing the answer.
"You have a great assumption Ms. Armstrong. Yes, please bring yourself and the others down to the station. We have some questions for you and your friends about the recent death of your friend. We would like to get a few statements; nothing major, just trying to get your side of events," the lead detective in Loren's case said.
"Okay, I will go gather the rest of my friends and we will be down there in thirty minutes to an hour," I said, trying to be as respectful as possible.
"Alright, well you know where our department is. We'll see you when you get here," The detective said before he hung up the phone.

"Really?! Why now?" I said aloud, obviously pissed off because of the fact that we now have to go to the police station a few minutes after our friend's funeral service.
"Let's just go," Alex said, wiping tears from his eyes. I wrapped Alex in a tight hug, and the other friends followed until we were in a group hug.
"We need to go. Let's go eat lunch, then we can go down to the station," Bishop said, grasping my hand. He kissed my palm and I started to blush.
"Let's go eat at Jinx's favorite restaurant," Autumn said, getting that idea.
"Las Playitas!" We all shouted.
We all got in our vehicles and headed towards the beach themed restaurant, in which we frequented so often that the employees knew our names and our orders by heart.
{A/N: There will be some in spanish, bare with me}
"Bienvenido a Las Playitas!" Ricardito, the manager, said as he greeted us.
"Gracias, gracias," I said.
"Qué será? Una mesa de cinco?" Ricardito asked us.
"Sí," I responded.
"!Maravilloso, ven por aquí!" Ricardito exclaimed, showing us to a booth and a table.
"Booth o un mesa, mis amigos?"
"Un mesa, por favor," Bishop said, attempting to speak Spanish.
"Es muy bien. Tomo asiento," Ricardito said, handing us menus. "Tome su tiempo."
"Gracias!" I said as Ricardito walked away.
We all looked at the menus, and called Ricardito back over to give him our orders. He took them back to the kitchen, and in thirty-ish minutes, our food was done and at our table.
"Muchas gracias!" I said as Ricardito handed us our food, and walked away.
"Por nada mis amigos," He called after he walked away.
We ate all of our food, and left a big tip for Ricardito. When we asked him for the check, he told us that it was on the house. He said these words, probably the most I've ever heard him speak in English.
"Today's meal is on the house. Jinx was a valued customer, and you all are also valued customers. On this day of sadness, your meal should be on the house. Please, don't forget Jinx. He always has a special place in our hearts here at the restaurant. He now has a picture on our memory wall," Ricardito said as he pointed to Jinx's photo on the wall. It was a recent picture that we had taken at the restaurant before we left for the trip. Underneath the picture, it said 'In memory of Jinx Michael Cope. For we will all miss him very much, rest in peace.'
Alex started to tear up while he was looking at the photo. We wrapped him in a tight hug, and wiped tears from his eyes.
"It's time for us to go to the station," I said, wiping tears from my own eyes.
"Okay," Autumn said.
"Okay," the others repeated.
We all got into our vehicles, with Bishop riding shotgun in mine. He had his hand on my thigh, and I rubbed his hand. We then arrived at the station, and all got out of the car. We were greeted by the same detectives from last time.
"Welcome back," a sarcastic voice replied at our arrival to the station.
"Nice to see y'all again," the detective that called me said.
"Yeah, okay. Just can we get this over with?" Alex asked, "I would like to go home soon. I lost my boyfriend yesterday..." He started to shut down again. I felt so bad for him.
"Yes, right this way. Alex and Delilah, you will go into these two seperate rooms. Clover, I need you to be in the room with Alex," He paused, then pointed to Bishop, "Who are you?"
"I'm Bishop. I just came back down here after Loren was killed. I wanted to be here for my friends..."
"Okay, well um.. You and Autumn will go into these two rooms," He said while pointing to the two rooms opposite the ones that Delilah, Alex and I would be going into.
"Okay sir," Bishop replied, trying to be as respectful as possible.
Alex and I went to the room that we were supposed to, and so did the others.
"Okay, Alex. I want to ask you a few questions first. Where were y'all at the time of Jinx's murder?"
"We were all at this place that we call 'The Spot.' I texted everyone so that they could meet us there. But, Jinx never showed. Then we all got this creepy text from an unknown mess-"
"You got a text, you say? From whom?" The detective interrupted.
"As he was saying, we got a message from an unknown number. We don't know who it is. That's kind of why it's called an unknown number," I replied to the detective.
"Exactly. So whenever we got the text, it told us that whomever it was had just killed Jinx and it was out for the rest of us. I do believe it said that whomever was coming for Delilah next. We think that it's related to the Loren killing," Alex said.
"It's not just a thought, Alex. I know that it's related. I got a span of text messages from the killer. This person claimed that they were also responsible for Loren's killing. Like Alex said, who ever did this, is coming for the rest of our group," I said.
"You, and everyone else on the Police Force, need to do something so that we all don't die in the process. It's extremely important that you listen to us. I know that I personally don't want to die at the hands of someone else who I don't even know. Please take us seriously. It's literally a life-or-death scenario," Alex pleaded with the detective.
"We'll look into it. You're free to go, for now," The detective said before ushering us out of the door.
We were joined again with our friends. We all got in a group hug and just stayed there for a while.
"Let's go look for this bitch who killed our friends," Bishop said, obviously pissed off at the Police's intolerance.
"Come on," Autumn said.
"For Jinx," Alex said.
"For Loren," Delilah said.
"For everyone who never had a chance," I said.
We walked out of the police station, arms around each other. We weren't going to let the killer tear us apart any more. We were determined to find who did this. Even if it meant our lives, too.
