Chapter 4: Mystery Boy

Harry's POV

I rushed into the Emergency Room for the sake of Taylor's health.

"Umm, miss?" I called the receptionist's attention. "Yes sir?" She asked attentively. "It's an emergency. I-I- she got hit by a skateboarder and is apparently un-co-conscious." I stuttered, realizing that I'm actually saving Taylor's life.

"Okay sir. We're going to have you put her down on the bed right here." She directed as a bed came rushing in. I put Taylor down gently to not cause more pain.

"Also, you need to sign this log book. You need to put the patient's name and her accompany." She pulled out the log book.

This may seem as a simple thing to do, but it's actually a life-changing action I'm doing right here; revealing my identity.

I wrote the date and time first and then Taylor's name. I took a deep breath, the pen touching the page.

I wrote my name slowly and legibly, trying my best to not look like a weirdo in this emergency room.

I finished 'Styles' and dropped the pen gently. "Thank you Mr. Styles. Ms. Swift is in room 139." She took the log book.

"Thanks." I took off my beanie and shades as I smiled at her. I dashed through the crowd of people in their miserable hopeless lives and made my way to the elevator.

What do I do when she finds out? Be like, 'Hey Taylor, I was stalking you the whole time.'? No, not that.

The elevator opened and I got out, putting my disguise back on. I can't let her know, not now especially on a time like this.

I open the hospital door and found the doctor waiting for me. "Mr. Styles, you're Ms. Swift's accompaniment, right?" He asked while looking at his papers.

"Yes." I confirmed. "Well then, she has a few bruises and cuts on her arms and legs. But no worry, she just passed out. She'll be normal today and will be ready for releasing tomorrow. She almost broke her ribs but we're in luck that she hasn't." He reported.

"Okay, thanks doc." I thanked him. He nodded and exchanged a 'you're welcome' and left the room.

I looked at Taylor. It looks like she hasn't been into an accident. She looks so clean and peaceful. They must've cleaned her cuts already with only a few bruises visible.

I awkwardly watch her open her eyes with my disguise on. 'Cause you know, I have my freaking disguise on.

"What?" Was all she said.

Taylor's POV

I wake up to the white walls where no one wants to go; the hospital. "What?" I said unconsciously. I look around and saw the man who I stared at earlier.

"Hi, did you bring me to the hospital?" I asked. "Huh? Oh, yeah I did. No one else bothered to so I did." He answered.

"Thanks! Oh, let me pay you. Not everyone usually brings someone to the--"

"Oh, nah no need for that." He rejected. "Really?" I said in shock. "Yeah. It's not that much of a big deal actually." He said coolly.

"Oh, okay. Can I have your name? I'd really like to know who saved my life." I smiled. I'm not flirting with him, it's just getting to know him the old fashioned way.

"Umm, uhh--"

"Excuse me Ms. Swift?" The nurse came in. "Yes?" I asked transferring my eyes to he gaze.

"You need to take your pain killers now Ms. Swift." She informed with a pill and a glass of water in hand.

I took the medicine and drank the water, soothing the medicine's way down to my system.

The nurse got out and I found mystery boy out of sight. Why does he always have to leave? I want to get to know him. There's something about him that makes my insides flutter.
