Chapter 18: Starting Conversations.

Taylor's POV

If it was ever right, I silently walk away from the two men whom just confused my whole night.

Well, not much of walking away, it's rather walking to the refreshment table just two walks from Louis.

"Louis, what now?!?!" Harry says, in an irritated whisper, yet I could hear very clearly.

"Harry, I'm here to say sorry!" Louis says also sounding like a whisper, but audible enough to listen to their argument.

What did these two do anyway?

"What? Sorry for being gay on me? Sorry that you messed my life up? Making people think I love you? What else Louis? WHAT ELSE?!?!" Harry says as he furiously screams.

Being gay? Their little bromance?

Harry's not gay, Louis as well. But could they be-

"WELL I'M SORRY FOR RUINING YOU AND TAYLOR!" Louis screams and more people stare at them.

"Louis, quiet." Harry says calmly.

"No, Styles! You think that everything has its benefit for you, huh? You think that she'll still love you-"

"I SAID QUIET TOMLINSON!" The curly one yells at the blue eyed brunette.

"Harry," Ed suddenly comes in between, slightly pushing Harry away from Louis.

Ed whispers something to Harry, while I was left standing there being clueless.

Harry's POV

"Harry you better stop this now! If you don't, I'll make sure I'll kick you out and make sure you won't see Taylor again! Are we clear on this?" Ed yells in a whisper in my ear.

I nod slightly, staring at Louis in anger.

He thinks that I could fall for him, when I'm not gay, nor in love with him.

Like I said, he messes up his own life. He takes too much risks that it's stupid to look at already.

"Okay, okay! Everyone! We are terribly sorry for the little steam in here, but it's all fixed now. So everyone go on whatever they were doing!" Ed screams and the room rejoices as the music continues.

"Harry, remember what I told you." Ed whispered to me with a hint of anger in his tone and his face.

He chuckles slightly, "Okay, have fun." He smiles instantly and leaves to disappear into the crowd.

"Harry?" A gentle voice calls me from behind, making me turn in a flash of light.

Now, I see her being in my own self, not Matt or whoever.

"A-are you okay? If you'd like-"

"I'm fine, Taylor." I smile warmly and she blushes a tad.

"Louis left, but he managed to chat with me a bit. But I don't get him, what does he mean by me being the luckiest person alive?" She asks curiously.

"Well," I say a bit nervously, "I think that you really are lucky after everything you did." I lied, partially. With all the success, Louis also means being with me.

I don't get it either, it's not like Louis and I broke up.

Or even dated since that would be awkward.

Or maybe Louis just likes me.

But I don't, I wouldn't trade Taylor just to be gay.

"Harry, are you okay?" Taylor asks worriedly. "I'm fine. D-do you want to stay with me for the rest of the night?" I invite nervously.

Taylor giggles, and blushes, instantly making me form a smile on my face.

"Yeah!" She says excitedly, reminding me that she acts like a five year old, hearing that thought hilarious because she's mature looking.

"Hungry?" She asks. "Pretty much." I chuckle slightly as we walk to a booth for us to sit.

"I'll go get the food. You seem exhausted." She tells me and leaves off.

I let my mind wonder while she's gone. Realization hits me and made me think that this is dangerous, but it's all worth it anyway.

"There isn't any non-alcoholic drink. So I guess I'll have to watch you." She hands me a red solo cup with beer.

"It's fine. I'm not that all restricted. I'm legal in my country." I inform her.

"Righhhttt, you're British." She giggles at herself for forgetting and takes a seat.

Taylor's POV

"So, how's it been?" I ask the long-haired Harry in front of me. "How's what been?" He questions unsurely, taking a big bite on his taco.

"Life. You know, all those stuff." I smile.

"Pretty.... good.... I think?" He says, once more unsurely.

"Well-"

"Attention, please." Ed stops the music and speaks into the mic, and also interrupting me.

"This surely isn't prom. But I see that some people have dates." The ginger looks at Harry and I, causing Harry to chuckle.

"So, late self promotion here. I'll be playing Kiss Me. And whoever has a partner, they SHOULD dance. Get me?" He asks everyone.

I couple of yeahs and alrights were heard from the crowd as an answer.

"Alright! Get your feet and butts up and slowly dance to this. Maybe even make out without caring." He jokes and everyone laughs as he sets the music.

"Mind dancing with me?" Harry invites me with his palm open on the table.

"I don't mind at all, actually." I take his hand as we stand up.

The music starts to play and I see people slowly dancing with their lovers, making me think that Harry and I are different.

We try to dance, but looking like a failure.

"I'm sorry, I'm terrible at dancing." Harry whispers and I giggle. "Don't worry, I am too. But here, you just take two steps to the right and right." I whisper to him.

He tries his best, yet still failing adorably. "Follow the music." I calm him down, staring into his eyes.

"I can't." He admits, pouting.

"Follow me then, okay?" I tell him and he nods, staring deep into my eyes as if his eyes were fixed to be that way.

I feel him getting better and better as each beat passes.

He's no longer staring into my eyes, but I hug him as we dance, resting my head on his shoulder.

"Kiss me like you wanna be loved." He sings to me. "Wanna be loved, wanna be loved." I sing as I feel my voice vibrating into his body.

"This feels like falling in love, falling in love, falling in love." He continues to gently sing.

I stop hugging him, and instead put my arms around his neck and staring into his eyes.

Ed's voice continues the song, as I feel my eyes slowly closing.

Harry gets nearer, his nose brushing against mine.

I could almost his pink lips on mine, but only with a few centimeters to go.

And in less than a second, our lips finally collide.

And nothing was better.
