We're playing FIFA when Lil's mum comes into the living room.
"Hey.... Uh... You guys want some pizza?" Lil's mum asks.
"Ooh sure!" I say.
"Yes please." Lil says.
"I'll take three slices please." I say.
"I'll take two, please." Lil says
"Okay!" Lil's mum says.
"Thank youuuu!" I say.
"Thanks mum." Lil says.
"Yeah, no problem." Lil's mum says as she walks out of the room.
"Yay pizza!" I say.
Lil chuckles.
At that moment, Lil makes the winning goal in FIFA, she BEATS ME!
"Well, it looks like I just won." Lil says.
"No. That can't be." I say.
"I believe it can." Lil says. "And it did."
"No one has ever beaten me." I say.
"Well now someone has." Lil says with a smirk.
"You should go up against Michael sometime.... You definitely can't beat him." I say.
"We'll have to see about that." Lil says.
"Yeah..." I say.
Just then, Lil's mum walks back into the room with two plates of pizza in her hands.
"Here you go!" She says as she hands us our plates.
"Thanks mum." Lil says.
"Thank you!" I say.
"You're very welcome." Lil's mum says as she walks out of the living room.
"Your mum is awesome." I say.
"Yeah..." Lil says.
"Do you and your mom..... Get along?" I ask.
"Yeah. We just don't talk a lot anymore. I kind of just shut myself out from everyone so we never really talked." Lil says.
"Oh..." I say. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Lil says.
"Are you sure?" I ask.
"Yeah." She says.
"You know......" I say. "I used to cut too."
"Really?" Lil says.
"Yeah." I say.
"Why?" She asks, she's really surprised.
"I was bullied. And my dad left wen I was little. I felt alone, shut out, and worthless." I say. "I know how it feels. But you aren't worthless and you aren't alone."
"You shouldn't have cut yourself....." She says. "You don't.... You're.... Luke Hemmings. You don't need to cut yourself."
"And it's just the same for you." I say. "You're Lilian. You don't need to cut yourself."
A tear runs down her face.
"No. I'm not special." She says. "I'm no one. Thousands of girls would love to be with you, millions of fans love you, no one loves me, no one is there for me." Lil says. I brush the hair away from her face.
"I love you. I care for you." I say. I hug her.
