Chapter 3- Jacob West

Katie's P.O.V:

Liv suddenly sat up, causing Nik, Ella, and I let out a breath of relief.

"Why are you all surrounding me?" Se said, looking at us weirdly.

"Cause you were tossing and turning for 4 hours straight and when you stopped moving we thought you died!!" Ella exclaimed dramatically.

And they say I'm the drama queen.

"Hey!" Ella sad, smacking my arm. I moved my hand away quickly, glaring at her.

"What did I do?!?" I exclaimed, then pausing before sighing, mentally facepalming myself. "I said it out loud didn't I" I said as Ella kept glaring at me.

"Yes b" she said and I grinned sheepishly at her.

"I really need to work on that" I said.

"Guys you're losing focus here" Nik said, waving us back over to the situation at hand.

"Right" I said, facing back to where Liv was sitting in the bed.

"What happened?" Ella asked her, seeming concerned. She always seemed to be the mother of the group when she was worried. She always spouted out random wisdom and was great to go to if you needed someone to talk to, whatever it was about she was always there.

"But it seemed so real! I don't think it's possible that that was a dream. I think it was real" Liv exclaimed. She just finished telling us about her dream/nightmare but you all already know about that.

"Maybe it was" Ella said, by now sitting next to Liv on the bed.

"What?" Nik and I said at the same time.

"I mean, I've read a few books before where when werewolves first transform, if they are not already in a community of werewolves they, or their spirit I guess,goes into the world while their real bodies are sleeping in the hopes of their real body finding the pack one day since that's where werewolves belong. In packs where they are at their strongest points" she explains. I seriously didn't get how she knows this stuff.

"Well even if that's true, I'm sure they won't be letting me in any time soon" she said and I looked at her in confusion.

"Why not?" I asked and she looked at me.

"I was basically their prisoner, and then I just magically disappear? Yeah that's so trustworthy isn't it" she says sarcastically and I shrug.

"You never know" I say and we all go silent.

"Who's up for breakfast at IHOP?" Nik randomly asks and we all look at each other and nod.

Once we all got dressed we headed over to IHOP where we were currently finishing up our food.

"Ugh do I have to go to work?" I asked and they all agreed.

"Hate to break it to you all but we kind of have to, it's our only source of income" Liv says and we all sigh but get up anyways, leaving money at the table and leaving.

I was dropped off by Liv and said my goodbyes, quickly making my way into the cafe and finding my apron. I put it on and went to the register where I found one of my colleagues, Amber, working.

"Tables 4 and 6 need cleaning. Table 2 wants to order from there" she says dismissively and I sigh, walking over to table 2, taking my pen and pad out.

"Hello welcome to the Dream Bean Cafe, what would you like to order?" I said politely, internally groaning as I sounded like a cheesy commercial. I looked up and tried my best to keep my chill demeanor even though in the inside I was screaming cause damn, he was hot.
