Katie's P.O.V:

I got out of my car, walking into the old, empty library. As I walked through the double doors the first thing I saw was the endless rows of books going down the entire store, tables scattered around open areas and the elderly librarian sitting at the front, reading a book.

She had granny glasses on and her gray hair was tied up into a tight bun, wrinkles prominent in her face with a light blue blouse on. She somehow still managed to pull off the look though.

It's a really cliche spot but I love it because it's the most homey place I've ever found. I walked to the mystical section, picking up a few book on werewolves, magic, and powers.

As I walked back to the tables, I saw the librarian finally acknowledge me and she smiled widely.

"It's not often you find someone your age in this dusty old place" she stayed and I smiled sadly.

"People have lost their appreciation for books, but my group of friends have always loved them" I said and she smiled once again, making her way towards me.

"Good on you guys. The things you read can really help you in life, even in the fiction category" she said, tapping the one of the books that were sprawled out on the table I claimed. It was a decently sized book with a dark clue cover and no title, as well as also having odd engravings in it. I didn't even realize I had picked it up and taken it over here.

I didn't respond to her as she disappeared into the bookshelf's, looking down at the book that she tapped. I shrugged it off, placing that one aside as I picked up one about magic.

***************

I had been reading for hours on end now, the sun going down and I couldn't for the life of me find a single clue on what was happening to us. I did learn a lot about werewolves though.

I sighed, closing the last book on the table and picking up the stack of finished books, putting them back into place. By now my brain was fuzzy and my eyes hurt from reading all day so I walked back to my table, picking up my bag and beginning to walk out.

"Have a nice night" I said to the librarian as I walked past her desk.

"You too Katie, good luck" she said and I muttered a 'you too', walking out. I was about half way to my car when I stopped.

1. How did she know my name?
2. Why did she say good luck?

I quickly walked back over to the building, opening the doors and walking towards the desk, but she was gone.

"Hello? Librarian lady?" I called out, but there was no reply. I walked around every single bookshelf but she wasn't there. It was like she disappeared into thin air.

I walked out of the suddenly eery building, walking to my car and getting in, driving back to my place.

*****************

I sighed, dropping my bag onto my bed and going straight into the bathroom to take off my make-up.

I washed my face and let my hair loose, changing into comfier clothing and freezing when I glanced at my bed.

I slowly walked towards the book, as if it could pop up and kill me at any moment. When I finally reached the bed, I grabbed it and turned it over, seeing the dark blue all around with no title or author and weird engravings once again. I opened the front cover and in creepy looking letters it spelt out 'YOU FOUND ME'.

I shivered, sitting on my bed and leaning up against the headboard, turning to the first page.

----1----
The legend of the Fait accompli four is an ancient tale of four people, mostly known as four girls, that all developed powers when they were in their late teens. All four of them had been friends for a long time and stuck together for years before there was any sign of magic in their blood. They all trusted each other with their secret and everything was set perfectly so that they could practice their powers together secretly. They also all had one person in their life that they loved and were destined to get together with, sort of like a mate with werewolves.
