Hunter's P.O.V:

"If you don't move into the pack house, I'll be forced to marry a chosen wife... Tomorrow" I said.

Her face went blank, and she stood motionless for a while. I bit my lip, waiting for The Mate Bond to kick in.

For those of you that are confused, which is most likely all of you, The Mate Bond is a short version of the bond between two mates, and what happens when the female feels threatened that her mate will fall in love with another girl (or boy I don't judge). There are 5 stages of this, and I could tell the first was starting when the beautiful green in her eyes turned red.

1. Rage and Jealousy

She began to walk away calmy, but I caught her arm, pulling her towards me. She struggled in my tight grip and I sighed, knowing that she was only going to get worse from here.

"Liv you need to calm down okay? Just breath" I whispered in her ear. She relaxed for a second before her breathing started to run faster, her struggling getting harder to keep in check.

"LET GO OF ME!!" She screamed in my ear, causing me to wince slightly. I knew I couldn't hold her back like this so I started pushing her backwards until she was pushed up against a tree. She screamed once again in anger, bringing her foot up before swinging it backwards to hit the tree, successfully creating a large hole in the trunk with her strength.

"Liv please" I begged her but she kept trying to escape my grip. I heard the snapping of twigs from behind me and a few growls, signalling that some rogues were surrounding us.

She kept struggling not even caring about the rogues. The rogues growled once again, and I could sense them coming closer to us.

"I wouldn't bother her right now if I were you" I warned them and a series of laughs erupted from behind me.

'Yeah, because women can totally be scary' a sarcastic and deep voice appeared in my head. Suddenly, as if she only just noticed them, Liv's head lifted up and all the noise and laughter from behind us ceased.

'SHE'S A DEVIL!! WHO THE HÈLL ARE YOU!?' the same voice screamed and I didn't answer as they all ran away. I guess a woman's glare really can scare off any man.

While I was distracted, she pushed me so that I stumbled backwards and I flipped her around so her back was facing me, holding her hands behind her back for limited movement.

She suddenly started pulling, her arms moving unnaturally as her pained screams filled my ears. As much as I hated to use it, I allowed my Alpha voice out to make her stop, as I couldn't bare seeing her hurt herself.

"NO" my voice boomed through the forest and she automatically stiffened.

"You will NEVER hurt yourself, no matter WHAT emotion overwhelms you, do you understand?" I said in a strong voice and she stood back up normally, nodding her head.

I sighed, turning her around so she faced me again. Her eyes were softer, even though they were still a deep red and I bit my lip slightly as I thought.

"If you promise to calm down, I'll let you go" I proposed and she looked up at me.

"Can I just know her name?" She said softly and I was going to say no, but when I saw the look in her eyes the name just spilled out of my mouth.

"Wren Farlund" I said quietly and she nodded, her shoulders relaxing. I hesitantly let go of her and she stood still for a few seconds, before starting to run off.
