i don't know why we all hang onto something we know we are better off without.
the constellations following us,
whispering to let go of what holds
us back — of forehead kisses, hiding
tears and prolonged hesitancy. the
universe's path of goodbye.— but then again, we'd rather hold on to the dark and bitter than have nothing to be reminded of. THE DEVIL NEVER SEEMED SO HOLY.
