Blue opened her eyes and looked around. She was lying on her bed, in her room. She sat up straight and looked around. Telchar was sitting on the edge of her bed. He looked at her with sadness on his face. "How are you feeling?" He asked.
"Better." Blue answered, confused about his acts. He stood up and went to the door and opened it. Uinen was standing outside the room. She looked inside and then at Telchar.
"I have to go. Take care of her when I am away." He said and strode away. Uinen entered the room closely followed by Halias and Narui. They stopped beside the door and put their hands on the hilts of the swords. Uinen sat beside Blue and looked at her dull face.
"Do you want to eat anything?" Blue just shook her head. She pulled her knees and put her arms around the legs. Tears rolled down her face. She started sobbing. Halias looked at her with total sadness. When she failed to control her emotions she screamed and looked up at the ceiling. She started crying harder. Uinen put her trembling hands on Blue's shoulders.
Outside the room Telchar was still standing. He bit his lips and closed his eyes. Tears rolled down his face. At that moment he wanted to shout and scream but he couldn't. Inside the room, Halias and Narui felt his presence and exchanged worried looks. There was nothing they could do. Nothing. Telchar lost control on himself and ran away from the room. Narui opened the door and looked around the corridor. He saw his king running away. He looked at his brother and nodded. After that he departed with him and ran after Telchar.
What have happened to me? Why am I running away from the truth? Father, please help me. I need you father. I can't do it alone. Telchar thought as he ran out of the palace, into the gardens. He stopped there and looked around. He felt something strange surrounding him. He looked around but saw nothing. He felt pain in his heart. He put his hand on his chest and looked around. He felt destruction around the world. What the hell is happening around the world? He thought and looked up at the sky. "Damn!" He raised his arms upwards and closed his eyes. Behind him a shadow appeared and blue lightening shot towards the sky, forming a barrier above them.
Far in the corridor, Narui was staring at him. In the room, Uinen, Blue looked at the sky with fear and confusion. Halias looked at the lightening and shouted, "Telchar!!!" He ran out of the room. Uinen and Blue followed him. They ran through corridors and into the garden. Halias stopped beside his brother and looked at his friend. Uinen and Blue ran forwards, but Blue stopped after a yard's gap. As Uinen ran towards Telchar, the wind blew and she flew backwards. She hit the pillars of the corridor behind them, and fell down. But Blue stood there unaffected. Halias stared at her scared. Uinen lifted her head and looked at Blue.
"Blue, only you can stop him." She shouted. Blue looked at her and turned to look at Telchar. She started walking towards him, fear gripping her. But she felt save. Slowly she reached him and with trembling hands grabbed his right arm. As Telchar turned and looked at her, the barrier fell and he fell on his knees his shadow vanished. Blue screamed and fell down. She was awake but taken to the past.
"Brother, come on. We have to go or they will take you away."
"I promise I will never forget you, brother. I will come and find you."
"Don't take my brother away from me. Telchar!!!!! Let him stay mother."
Her eyes filled with tears as she was lying at her side, on the soft grass. She put her hands on the ground and lifted her body and head. She looked at Telchar, who was staring at her with fear in his eyes.
"Why? Why did I forget everything? Who am I?" Blue asked with trembling voice. She was confused, but she knew that what she saw was reality. Telchar just stared at her with hot tears welling up in his eyes. "WHY?" She shouted and stood up. When he didn't answer her she turned around and moved few steps forwards, when Halias blocked her way.
"Telchar, you need to explain. She need explanation." He said to Telchar, angrily. She turned and looked at her brother, but still Telchar stared at the grass. He slowly stood up and bowed and whispered something and walked pass them. Halias looked at his friend, shocked and frozen. Uinen stared at her husband's back with regret. Blue lost her mind and ran away. As she passed Telchar, she hit him on the arm but didn't stop to look behind. Telchar stopped dead and stared at her as she ran away. Halias and Uinen followed her. Narui walked to Telchar and bowed.
"Orders My Lord?" He asked, confused about everything. Telchar shook his head and silently walked away. Narui stared at him then looked around. He saw Shadow standing at the far corner of the garden. Shadow smiled sadly and vanished. Narui bowed and walked away.
"Lady Blue, you must remember that he is your brother." Halias said, anger coursing through him and it was impossible for him to keep his voice steady.
"I don't have any brother. Only two younger sisters. I won't accept him, so leave the effort and be gone." Blue said with grief and smiled blankly. She took a deep breath and walked towards the window. "Be gone" She repeated, coldly. Halias bowed and walked out of the room. He slammed the door behind him. Uinen moved forwards but stopped when Blue raised her hand. "I want to be alone. Be gone, My Lady." She said rudely but Uinen smiled and bowed.
Days passed but Telchar didn't talk to anyone. Nor let anyone talk to him. Halias spend most of his time training the soldiers and Narui remained by Uinen's side Blue remained in her room. She refused to talk to anyone, especially Halias. She refused to eat or drink. She remained in her bed, thinking only one thing.
Where are you two? Waiting will kill me and memories haunt me. Come to me. I have to tell you both something... something that will change everything. I am not your sister. Will you forgive me when you will know about this? As she thought this, she closed her eyes. And that was when she felt like someone throttled her. She saw Lily smiling and her voice echoed in her head.
You are not alone. We will unite. With fear and shock she opened her eyes and sat straight. Breathing fast, she ran out of the room bare foot. Telchar was turning around the corridor when she bumped into him. She looked at him and gasped. Both of them stared at each other for a moment, then he put his right hand on her forehead. She was boiling hot. Narui looked at them with confusion. Halias looked at his brother and grabbed his arm.
"Excuse us, My Lord." He said and bowed and dragged his brother with him.
"Why are you so hot, Blue?" Telchar asked, feeling difficult in keeping his voice normal.
"Maybe because... I haven't eaten from three days." She said, making herself calm. He looked at the ceiling and took a deep breath. Then he looked at her with a smile on his face. He grabbed her hand lightly and took her to the kitchen. There he ordered food and water for her. After eating, he took her out in the gardens.
"Tell me what is bothering you, dear sister." On his last words Blue looked up at him and felt alive and happy.
"I saw Lily and heard her. You don't know her, right?" She hesitated. Telchar smiled widely and looked up at the sky, bright like always.
"She was only a year old, when mother died and father become a slave. I lived happily here because I was sent here on the orders on the elders of our family. Father came to me and told me about being betrayed. After few months I received news that Lily was forbidden kingdom. And father took her away. Then Lady Thuna's daughter vanished. And you were brought here. I forgot our friendship. We were more than a brother and a sister. Lily Shadow, youngest in the family never got the chance to feel that happiness. But I am eager to meet her." He finished and turned to face Blue. Tears were rolling down her face. He smiled and wiped the tears with his fingers. "Forgive me, Lady Blue Night Shadow, for the darkness falls upon us and our house. We will wipe this darkness together and take the throne back, which is ours." Blue nodded and forced a smile on her face.
Uinen was watching them from her room. She smiled with happiness and turned to face Narui and Halias. Both of them bowed and looked at her for orders. "Protect them with all of your strength and become their shadows."
"We will become their light. For they already have their shadows to watch over them and protect them." Halias smiled and walked out of the room closely followed by his brother, who was confused no more. Because of the story Halias told him.
